2014 Honda CRF125F, CRF125F Big Wheel Announced

Honda announced a new off-road model with two wheel size options for 2014. The new Honda CRF125F and the CRF125F Big Wheel variant replace the outgoing CRF80F and CRF100F youth models, just as the CRF110F replaced the CRF70F in the 2013 model year. Essentially, in two years, Honda has replaced three of its long-serving youth-oriented off-road bikes with new larger-displacement models while maintaining the dimensions of the previous models to provide options for kids of varying heights.

K-Tech release 25SSK for Big Piston Forks

K-Tech have released their popular 25SSK front fork open cartridge system to fit all Showa Big Piston Forks. Here's what K-Tech have to say about them: These lightweight aluminium units are supplied to the same exacting specification as all other 25SSK fitments with 14mm piston rods and a 25mm cartridge tube, the 14mm piston rods displace a large volume of oil through the 25mm control pistons giving enhanced damping characteristics over the standard Big Piston Fork and allow a bigger volume of air for a more precise feel at the bottom of the fork travel. The adverts consist of the supposedly the frame from Valentino Rossi's championship dominating machine from 2003 on eBay and a frame that comes complete with the sexy V5 engine. The eBay listing is currently at $510 and is literally an incomplete frame with the ad stating that it is the 'unfinished basis of replacement RC211V frame, all made in aluminium with CNC machined parts & high quality welding', the bidding is still under the reserve set by the user.
