Honda CRF description
We bought this bike in almost brand new condition 2yrs ago for $1400. It had been pre-owned as a pit bike and apparently had never been off road. Since then it has been ridden maybe twenty times. Completely original with no modifications from the factory configuration. It is a four-stroke with a 3 gear semi-automatic transmission (no clutch but a foot shifter). Starts on the 1st kick every time, even when it has been in storage for a couple months! This would be a good starter bike for an eight to 10yr old kid. All original! Honda Reveals NSF250R Moto3 Racebike Specs
Thu, 02 Jun 2011Honda has released official specs for its new NSF250R racebike developed for the new Moto3 class which will debut in the 2012 Grand Prix World Championship season. The Honda NSF250R’s four-stroke single-cylinder engine was developed specifically for Moto3 competition, promising power delivery in the high rpm range. The engine is equipped with titanium valves and uses an offset cylinder with a nickel silicon carbide surface treatment to reduce friction and improve durability.
AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season
Fri, 12 Apr 2013AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.
Honda Reports Q4 2012-2013 Results – North American Motorcycle Sales Up 25%
Fri, 26 Apr 2013Honda reported sales of 15.5 million motorcycles for its fiscal year ended March 31, 2013. That marks a 2.8% increase from the 15.1 motorcycles sold the previous fiscal year. Sales were particularly strong in North America where Honda reported a 25% increase in motorcycles sold.
