Honda CRF description

We bought this bike in almost brand new condition 2yrs ago for $1400. It had been pre-owned as a pit bike and apparently had never been off road. Since then it has been ridden maybe twenty times. Completely original with no modifications from the factory configuration. It is a four-stroke with a 3 gear semi-automatic transmission (no clutch but a foot shifter). Starts on the 1st kick every time, even when it has been in storage for a couple months! This would be a good starter bike for an eight to 10yr old kid. All original! Please call or text Rick No trades or dealers. Thanks!PS. For some reason the images on CraigsList make the red plastic look mottled. Can e-mail original photos if you are interested. This bike looks brand new!Might be able to meet you half way somewhere for a test ride, if serious buyer.

Voluntary Recall for Continental ContiMotion Sport-Touring Tires

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

Continental Tire announced a voluntary recall campaign for certain ContiMotion sport-touring tires. According to Continental, market feedback has shown some tires may experience uneven wear from the 180/60R16 74H ContiMotion rear tires. Tires may develop groove cracking and, in some cases, belt lift, conditions which can lead to a loss of tire inflation pressure and a potential for loss of control.

This weekend, the MotoGP circus makes its way to the United States for round two of the world championship, held at the stunning new Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, the first time the track will host a world championship level motorcycle event. Expect to see the world’s fastest racebikes reach speeds over 200 mph on the 1 km (0.62-mile) back straight, and bring ear plugs — these bikes are loud! Fresh off a 1-2 finish in the season opener in Qatar, Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi are looking to carry the momentum to CotA.

WSBK 2013: Laguna Seca Race Report

Mon, 30 Sep 2013

Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty each came away with a victory as the World Superbike Championship made its return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The first race featured two red flags, ironically caused by AMA Superbike regulars Danny Eslick and Roger Hayden, the two men with the most recent experience at the famed track. The second race was a much cleaner affair, with a dramatic finish, setting up the final two rounds of the championship.
