Honda CRF description

This bike is ready to ride, hopefully someone will be able to put some hours on it,  the bike has a great set up for Trails an Hare and Hound/desert riding. This is a sister bike to a 2008 450X Enduro bike I race.
Enough said i will now list the bikes Mods and what comes with it.

Starting up front Pro Taper Evo with ARC levers and RC8 Clutch Perch all on a set of RG3 Triple Clamps with a 20mm offset that makes this bike so quick and stable at the same time. The front end is a 47 Showa set up as an "A"kit by Factory Connection with Kashima pistons,
revalved and re rated Pressure spring and Fork springs, Updated Seal kit rings and Dust seals, Outdoor style Spring Seats and do not remember if i still left the Oil Lock collar set in it, FC Showa Low speed Valves and anodized adjusters at top. DLC coated inner tubes and improved tolerances inside by way of various coatings. Black anodized Axle logs with tighter tolerances on the Machined axle holes, which allows you a very precise set up on forks (no diverging or in word bending. Forks have two hours on it since last service By FC, they only did
two prologues at Erzberg Practice last Year.  front fork Guard are light speed Carbon  with a CNC aluminum pinch bolt set.
The wheel set  is a combo Talon Hubs with Excel rims, all black and Heavy Duty spline type spokes. Braking floating 270mm disk with Billet bracket up front and new Braking pads.
Moving to the back you have the same wheel style as I said with a Tag Metal sprocket and a New 2008 style HRC rotor with oem pads.
Chain adjusters are Zipty Racing, best ever on the market.  Carbon is the material of choice for the caliper guard, Disk guard as well as the chain Guide. DID gold chain. Tag front sprocket.
Twin Air filter and billet cage with a twin air billet screw for filter installation.  Works connection down below with aluminum skid plate and side engine guards. It also has a side stand in aluminum, Not the cheesy style ones see pictures on how it tacks under the side plate and became invisible!!  New foam on the seat with a new cover from TJ (Factory honda team style with six sewn ridges of Grab anti slip material).
All chain rollers and chain guide on swing arm are TM designworks.  The shifter is Sunline all billet aluminum that works very well for me and my size 12 boot, but i will give you the original new "never used" one any way. Case saver is in billet aluminum anodized red.  All master cylinders covers are billet and so are all the engine plugs.  It has a stainless steel reusable oil filter with a billet cover.Last but not list on the bike is an aluminum tank custom made by XFUN in Italy, That allows you to have almost  2Liters extra gas.
Forgot the rear shock, but you know it is a Showa Factory Connection with all the mods you can have plus an expanded bladder and billet Cap.
the shaft is the larger diameter one in DLC coated finish and progressive style rubber Bump.  Here are a couple of other surprises, two different springs (different rate, 5.9 and 5.7), and the full Linkage system Red Anodized Billet, and more progressive, from Factory Connection.
On the Engine there is an incredible tuning done by XPR and the carb has all the best you can get from Stealth Racing Technologies, with all the springs, Accelerator pump and Quick adjust Fuel Mixture screw, All in Titanium, That is was Factory  Honda used to use when it was still carbed.
The Hot start cap is also Billet from ProCircuit. The two Radiators are Brand new Mylers, and I mean i just Put them on before, and since the bike has never been used, Lucky you!!... because i am too lazy to take them off. They are there as spare for the other bike. By the way they are 50mm thick with 42mm cores, and they run with a 1.8 High pressure Cap, "Overheating" is a myth on this Bike!!!.
Pro circuit Full Ti system, with DB Killer and USFS spark arrester screen type.
Vortex ignition X10 CPU wraps it up ( 10 maps with Dual map switch on Bars), except i am Giving the OEM spare parts i have That are spanking NEW!!. I have a set of wheels as well, OEM, with new tires rotors and sprocket, never used that for a price i will trow in as well.

Call me whit any questions.
All you Friends Racers might get the bike more then others that do not know, so be fare and don't start crazy negotiations!!! Appreciate that...

A Different Bike Magazine

Thu, 12 Feb 2009

Motorcycle Retro is a pet project of former Motorcyclist editor Mitch Boehm, launching as Motorcyclist Retro in early 2008 under the Source Interlink media umbrella. It featured a contemporary look at motorcycles of the 1960s through the 1980s. However, the circulation numbers of MR didn’t meet the expectations of the media conglomerate, and they cancelled production of the magazine after just two issues.

The Honda Collection Halls in Motegi

Fri, 14 Oct 2011

I thought you may have to be from a certain era to enjoy the Honda Collection Halls in Motegi but I was wrong. This immaculate museum has hundreds of race and road bikes on display starting with the first ever (wooden) motorcycle built right up to the amazing machines Pedrosa and co are campaigning this year. Being part of the Honda owned Motegi Twin Ring circuit complex, I was expecting it to be a Honda only zone so was amazed to see lots of iconic bikes from other manufacturers also on display.

The name Matt Cuddy should need no introduction to Motorcycle.com readers. Not only does he have more than 5,000 posts on our forum, he’s also written dirt bike tests for us, including the 2010 and 2011 Kawasaki KX450F reviews. Making this accomplishment more noteworthy is the fact that Matt is a paraplegic – he was hit by a car several years ago while riding his motorcycle.
