2006 Honda CRF230F dirt bike for bid. It's in very good condition and has never been raced. We only used it to ride around the farm and check gates, etc. The plastic is all in tact with no cracks. Decals are a little peeled on the "driver" side. Tires are in good condition as well as rims. Everything works great on it. My favorite part about this bike is the electric start. Just push the button and you are on your way instead of kicking, cursing, and getting your leg slapped by a kick starter. It of course has the back up kick starter as well so you never have to worry about getting stranded. It starts right up, shifts smooth, clutch and brakes work fine, and no leaks. It is ready to ride wherever. Has Renthal bars and an upgraded chain and sprocket. These are perfect size for most people and a lot easier to get off and on that one of the giant bikes. Rossi Finishes Second to World Champion Loeb at Monza Rally Show
Mon, 28 Nov 2011Valentino Rossi is back on the podium. Not a MotoGP podium, mind, but for a rally car race at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza in Italy. (Post updated with video.) Driving a Ford Fiesta RS with co-driver Carlo Cassina, Rossi won two of nine stages and finished second overall to eight-time World Rally Car Champion Sebastien Loeb at the 2011 Monza Rally Show.
French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011
Mon, 24 Oct 2011Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.
