Honda CRF description

2004 Honda Crf 230, Technician owned, original 53 year old owner bike: I bought this bike brand new, it started out as a 2004 CRF 150F, The engine was converted to a 230 using all brand new Honda parts. It's a 230cc five speed, kick start only. This bike has hardly been used and certainly never beat on. It looks great in the pics and even better in person. There are all the parts to make this a long or short wheelbase 230 with either the 230 premium suspension parts or the stock 150 suspension parts...or a few other configurations. They just don't come any cleaner than this. $6500 or best offer. No text messages please. Here's a list of the modifications: Engine: Megacycle X2 mid range camshaft ~ Keihin 26mm carburetor ~ Coeshow Mega Kick Start Gears ~ MX bones billet catch can ~ Suspension: Polished forks with Race Tech cartridge emulators ~ 230F swingarm (longer) ~ Fox Podium X shock 24 clicks of high speed compression damping adjustments, 24 clicks of low speed compression damping adjustments and 24 clicks of rebound damping adjustments too. You can fine tune this rear shock to be as soft or hard as you like. Truly amazing the range of adjustment this shock offers. ~ Wheel/Tires: 17 Sun black anodized rims 17 ~ Pirelli Sport Demon tires ~ Brakes: EBC 320mm front disc and caliper adapter bracket ~ Galfer black stainless steel front brake hose ~ Misc Cycra Pro bend Hand guards with sliders ~ RSW Racing billet black anodized adjustable top clamp ~ Smoothed out and black powder coated lower fork clamp ~ Front/Rear axle and foot peg sliders ~ Brand new 15/43 sprockets and DID gold X ring chain ~Take off's/extras: 150 swingarm ~ 150 rocker and bottom suspension link ~ 150 stock shock ~ 24mm Keihin carburetor ~ 150 front end complete, (forks, steering stem, stock and aftermarket top clamps) ~ 13-14T counter shaft sprockets ~ 40-48T rear sprockets ~ BBR black anodized fully adjustable billet top clamp ~ extra front and side number plate plastic panels, and I'm sure there are a few things I'm forgetting. When MotoGP had more money than sense

Fri, 21 Jan 2011

The year is 2003, there's plenty of cash in MotoGP. AMA Superbike champion Nicky Hayden joins Rossi at Repsol Honda and Biaggi and Ukawa front-up the Camel Honda squad. Exciting times..

Rossi and Hayden Find Improvement but Disappointed with Results

Thu, 01 Mar 2012

The good news for Valentino Rossi is he managed to narrow the gap in lap times between his Ducati Desmosedici and Casey Stoner‘s Honda RC213V. The bad news is other riders improved more than he did. Rossi completed 57 laps and set a time of 2:01.550 on the third and final day of the second MotoGP test at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit.

A Lap of the Isle of Man TT Mountain Course with John McGuinness – Video

Tue, 26 Jun 2012

The Isle of Man TT is a very special event. Once the most prestigious motorcycle event in the world, the TT requires a certain type of character to ride superbikes at an average speed of over 130 mph through the quaint villages and over the rolling hills of the 37.73-mile Mountain Course. But don’t take my word for it, take the word of 19-time TT winner John McGuinness.
