Honda CR description

Bike has been in storage for 5 years.  After a little work, the bike is running fine; however, it has a coolant leak, most likely at the water pump.  Engine oil can be contaminated with water.  I have purchased the two water pump seals; however, I have not installed them.  They will be sold with bike. Bike exterior appears to be in really good shape, plastics are a little faded with some minor scratches.  Side motor case has been repainted.  Rear tire in good shape, front tire is weathered from age and forks have leaked at some point. Overall in very good shape for it's age and not being restored.  Bike is sold as is.  No title, bill of sale only.  CA residents will have to pay back registration fees due non-op never being filed.  Any questions, you can call me at 909-213-0608.

Jeremy Burgess Out and Silvano Galbusera In as Valentino Rossi’s Crew Chief

Mon, 11 Nov 2013

Valentino Rossi has parted ways with longtime crew chief Jeremey Burgess, ending a partnership that extended across 14 years and three different manufacturers while capturing seven MotoGP and 500cc Grand Prix World Championships. Burgess will be replaced by Louis CK lookalike Silvano Galbusera, a veteran crew chief and mechanic whose most extensive experience comes from World Superbike and Supersport racing. As crew chief and/or technical director, Galbusera has worked with an impressive roster of riders including Troy Corser, Noriyuki Haga, Cal Crutchlow and Ben Spies.

Day 3 Dakar 2014: Barreda Maintains Overall Lead, Despres Catches Up

Tue, 07 Jan 2014

Joan Barreda won his second special stage this year and now boasts a lead of more than 13 minutes over Cyril Despres and Marc Coma, the two other beneficiaries of a particularly decisive stage. Today’s stage, part one of the first marathon stage with no team service, was characterized by the highest ever racing altitude in Dakar history. Facing the 22,841 foot summit of the Aconcagua, South America´s highest mountain, the motorcycle riders had to cross a pass over 14,107 feet in elevation in trial-like conditions.

Hot Lap Around Spa-Francorchamps With Xavier Simeon

Fri, 20 Jan 2012

If you’re a fan of motorsport on both two and four wheels like me, then you should be familiar with the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. Here, Belgian native Xavier Simeon, the 2009 FIM Superstock 1000 champion and current Moto2 competitor, does a couple flying laps around his home track aboard a Honda CBR600RR at what appears to be a trackday. The speed he carries and the smoothness of his riding are simply extraordinary.
