Manuf date 3/79 I had bought this bike to race in the Post Vintage series, starting in April. Little did I know that finding a 23" front tire would be such a chore. It seems that the only manufacturer who makes a full knobby 23" is Cheng Shin. I have had a tire on order from Chapparel Motorsports since April 1st. Status has been two weeks, then two weeks then first of May, first of June.... I give up. I know ..put a 21" wheel on it..blah blah blah. Would make a nice restoration or racer. Just want to recoup some money to put towards something else. Anyway, on the to the good stuff. I bought in Northern Ohio in March, Previous owner did new top end. Runs very strong!! 6 speed! This bike is fast! Stock tank is in very good condition-just two slight dents. Tank alone is probably worth a few bucks. Tire that is on front is the stock Honda Trail Wing, holds air, has some dry rot cracks. Did ride up and down field with it. Also included is a new tube for it. Mon, 03 Feb 2014Chad Reed tasted victory for the second time in three weeks at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., leading all 20 laps and fending off a last-lap challenge from rookie upstart Ken Roczen. Reed, who also won the Jan. 18 round in the second of three Anaheim races, now trails fellow Kawasaki rider Ryan Villopoto by just two points in the 2014 AMA Supercross championship race.

The name was originally used in Europe in 1969 for Honda’s ST-series in 50 and 70cc models, and last produced from 1995 to 2003 in Japan. The name comes from “Dachshund”, as its distinctive T-shaped frame resembles the weiner dog breed, helping it stand out from Honda’s other minibikes like the Monkey and Cub.
2014 AMA Supercross – Atlanta Results
Mon, 24 Feb 2014KTM‘s Ken Roczen continues to impress, taking his second AMA Supercross win of his 450-class rookie season at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Roczen, who also won the season opening Anaheim 1 round, took advantage of a mistake by Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto to take the win and move within nine points of the defending champion in the rider standings. The main event started with Smartop Motoconcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi taking the holeshot for his best start this season.
