Honda CR description

This is a race ready 1979 Honda Cr 125. This is in excellent condition and runs great. I purchased  this from a friend of mine whose daughter raced it and then lost interest. This has had a complete rebuild with new bearings, top end, gaskets, seals last winter and has not been raced and was ridden very little since the rebuild. The motor was completely gone thru and anything that needed replaced was. It has new Works Performance TR shocks on it which will have to be adjusted if you weigh more then 150lbs. The plastic is new, the forks are perfect and dont weep with no pitting or surface rust, the tires are excellent and the only blemish I can see is that the tank has a couple of dents in it and needs painted. The pipe is perfect as is the silencer, this bike starts by the 2nd or 3rd kick everytime. The seat is perfect with no rips or tears  and the foam is not broke down. It has sunline bars, wide pegs, cables all look great. If you are looking for a race ready bike this is it, all you have to do is add your numbers and head to the track. The shocks and plastic alone cost over 1000.00, this is a motocross bike so there is No Warrenty  offered or implied nor does it have a title. Since this is a racer it has the normal wear on the engine side covers where the boots rubbed. Take a look at the pics and if you have any questions feel free to ask. Take a look at my other auctions featuring Montesa Maico CanAm Bultaco Ktm and more vintage motocross items. Thanks & Happy Bidding.

We’ve featured the Barber Museum before, and are completely blown away each time we step foot within its doors. It’s simply awe-inspiring.

Shawn Higbee Wins On The Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2

Thu, 01 May 2014

In only its second race appearance, the Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2 bike competed in the WERA F1 and B Superbike events on April 27th at the Autoclub Speedway in Fontana, California, run in conjunction with the first round of the GEICO Superbike Shootout, presented by Yamaha. During the F1 race, rider Shawn Higbee moved up to as high as 2nd place from a 5th row start on the Brough Superior TMRGP2 bike.  The TMRGP2′s lightweight all carbon fiber chassis and 600cc Honda powerplant demonstrated impressive cornering speed on the tight infield sections but could not match the top speed of the heavily modified 1000cc F1 bikes on the long straights. On the last lap Higbee was shuffled back to 4th place at the finish line.
