HONDA CR480R COMPLETE RESTORE PROJECT.  BIKE WAS REBUILT BY A MECHANIC OF A HONDA DEALERSHIP OUT IN THE NORTHWEST.  I BOUGHT OFF THE VMX RACING SITE HAD SHIPPED HERE IN THE EAST.  I NEEDED VERY LITTLE EFFORT TO SEE THE BIKE WAS A PRISTINE MACHINE FOR DISPLAY ON A SHOWROOM, OR RACED IN THE EVO CLASS VINTAGE MX.  THE FRAME IS PAINTED WITH THE OEM PAINT COLOR NEW TIRES, BUCHANON SPOKES, ON GOLD EXCELL RIMS!   I PUT ALL NEW PLASTICS ON THE BIKE, CABLES, GRIPS, SEAT COVER.  ENGINE WAS PORTED POLISHED, CARB JETTED, ALL NEW CRANK BEARINGS, TOP END.  BIKE IS A GOOD ONE TO RIDE SINCE QUITE AGILE, LIGHT FOR AN OPEN BIKE!  NEW THROTTLE ASSEMBLY!  THIS IS A SHARP BIKE ONE OF THE LAST EDITIONS ROGER DECOSTER DESIGNED FOR HONDA PRIOR OF HIS RETURN TO SUZUKI!  ANYWAY, BIKE STARTS IN ONE OR TWEO KICKS!  WHUUUU! A LOT OF COMPRESSION REMINISCENT OF MY NEW 2003 KX 500 RACED SOME TEN YEARS AGO.  LOL   BIKE WILL MAKE POTENTIAL OWNERS AN ALL NEW BIKE WHERE SAVE YOU THOUSANDS GETTING A VINTAGE BIKE WHERE THIS ONE IS!    GOOD LUCK BIDDING!

Hero MotoCorp Forms Joint Venture with Magneti Marelli

Indian manufacturer Hero MotoCorp is teaming up with electronic fuel injection expert Magneti Marelli in a new joint venture. Hero will hold a 60% share in the company with Magenti Marelli controlling the other 40%. The two companies are initially investing a combined US$8.5 million into the joint venture, with a planned  investment of US$27 million total over the next ten years.

Honda's ASIMO, Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility robot is a pretty cool thing. Until I'd seen it in the flesh (plastic?) I thought it was just a willy-waving exercise from Honda, but when I saw it running and walking up and down stairs, I was massively impressed. So, perhaps, one day, we'll have the ability to buy a relative of ASIMO to help us around the house, I thought to myself.
