Honda CL description
Clean, well maintained, Vintage, street and trail Honda CL175 K5. The Honda has been gone through and many new parts have been installed. New: Tires, Maintenance Free Battery, Ignition points, NGK Spark Plugs, Carburetors have been cleaned and rebuilt. Engine has been tuned, Timing set, Cam Chain tension has been adjusted. New oil seal in the tachometer drive. Used to leak oil, Not anymore! No oil leaks. No smoking. Engine starts right up and idles perfectly. Runs Great! Oil just changed. Drive Chain, Clutch, and Brakes have been adjusted. Brand New Honda OEM Fuel Petcock. Gas tank looks to be Brand New. I believe it is an OEM tank installed not long ago. Gas tank is nearly perfect with absolutely no rust inside and only very minor chips in the paint and one scratch on the right side of tank. No Dents or Dings! Side covers are original and excellent with minor fading of the paint and no cracks or broken tabs. Both have original emblems. Hard to find! The bike has nearly 13,000 miles and so the original factory brakes will need replacing as part of normal maintenance soon. The factory drive chain will also need replacing soon. The seat has been redone and it looks great. No rips, tears, or holes. Everything works on this bike including the electric starter and the Horn. All lights work. Turn signals too! The bike is in Excellent condition and I have tried to describe the bike as best I can. I have listed all of the bikes needs. The Honda has gone down on the right side in the past. The headlight mounting ears are bent to the left and is not noticeable unless one looks close. The steering lock is working but is missing it's cover plate. I have one original Honda key and one key I had made. I have a clear Illinois title for this bike in my name. I have this bike listed locally and I have had a lot of interest in the bike. I may end this action early if the bike sells locally. Please call my cell phone if you would like to come and see the bike in person. I am located in Aurora, Il. Just about 40 miles West of Chicago. Awesome Anaheim Supercross
Fri, 11 Jan 2013The highlight of this winter has to be my visit to last week’s Anaheim Californian Supercross. I’ve followed this spectacular series on Motors TV but the atmosphere while watching the action live is something else. Forty five Yankee dollars gets you a good seat high in the stadium, with practice starting at 12.30pm and the main event kicking off at 7.30pm. If you are making a day of it however, I’d recommend buying a pit pass then you can get in full anorak mode to hassle the teams and riders for autographs and photos. We conveniently made some new friends allowing us to do some pre event ‘tail gating’, a great concept which is basically barbecuing and downing beer around your vehicle in the surrounding car parks. The evening race schedule is four hours of nonstop action starting with the capacity crowd standing for the American national anthem sung by a stunning blonde with a huge voice.
Bonhams To Auction Bruce Smith Collection Of Original Illustrations
Fri, 11 Oct 2013On October 20, Bonhams will be auctioning off a collection of original illustrations by Bruce Smith from the 1960s and 1970s. Each one will be signed by Smith on heavy cartridge paper. The collection is comprised of cutaway illustrations of a 1963 Royal Enfield Interceptor 750cc, Chris Vincent’s 1964 BSA 650cc A65 Race Outfit, and a 1966 Greeves Racer, the largest of this series being 45cm x 62cm.
Sportbike VS Rat Bike Drag Race – Video
Fri, 21 Feb 2014In a revision of the classic hustle of tempting someone with something shiny and new with the easy mark of something old and dumpy, this CBR1000 rider lines up against a 70 hp Harley rat bike in a back alley drag race. What makes this video so compelling is the Honda rider’s unfailing belief in the superiority of his higher-powered, more performance-oriented motorcycle. He lines up against the Harley rider not once, not twice, but three times – only to get his ass handed to him each time.
