Honda CL description

 Selling a beautiful Candy Topaz 1970 CL350 K2.

Bike was sitting for MANY years and was just serviced by a mechanic. It received a new battery, new air filters. Entire fuel system was gone through and cleaned: Rebuilt petcock, tank flushed, and carburetors were rebuilt using NOS Honda rebuild kits.

Bike runs great, lots of low end torque, and runs strongly all around. Have only ridden it on side streets never on the Highway.

This bike came out of a HUGE collection in the midwest, and the owner really took care of all his bikes.

Bike is in excellent shape, its not perfect though so please look at all the photos carefully before bidding.

If you have any questions about the bike, or would like to see it in person before bidding, feel free to text or call me 727-735-2243

Bike is sold AS-IS with no warranty. This bike is over 40 years old, so you are responsible for having the bike inspected before purchase or riding.

A $500 deposit is due within 24hrs of auction ending. The rest to be paid in cash upon pickup. If you want the bike shipped I will do whatever I can to help arrange it, but the buyer is responsible for all shipping charges.

If you have less than 10 feedback please message me before bidding.

A Weighty Issue

Mon, 03 Nov 2008

For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.

2013 Honda CBR250R Gets Repsol Edition

Tue, 04 Sep 2012

American Honda announced a number of returning 2013 models with new color options but the most eye-catching of the new paint jobs is the Repsol-edition CBR250R. Dressed to resemble Casey Stoner‘s and Dani Pedrosa‘s Honda RC213V MotoGP race bikes, the 2013 Repsol edition Honda CBR250R sports the Spanish petroleum company’s orange with red and white colors, the Honda Racing Corporation logo and the “One Heart” motto of Honda’s Indonesian joint venture which also sponsors the MotoGP team. Completing the look are the Repsol-orange wheels.

Blind car drivers? It's your fault. Really, it is

Thu, 23 Sep 2010

Be seen, you Making car drivers see you is an art form that you learn from experience and narrow scrapes. It’s a fact of riding a bike that you’re harder to see than a double decker bus, it’s obvious isn’t it? You're small, fast and mostly, totally obscured by the average A-pillar.
