Please check out our detailed video on this motorcycle:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NOTE:

This motorcycle has been sitting for a few years and is not in running condition. It kicks over & has good compression. The inside of the fuel tank is in fair shape, with no major rust issues that would compromise the integrity of its structure. A little rust remover will clean this tank right out. The points cover is missing & the left frame side cover is not present. parts are easy to find on ebay!
However it is a good roller and great candidate for restoration!

The Honda CL100 was a 4-stroke single cylinder street motorcycle sold by American Honda Co in the U.S. in the early 1970s. The CL designation indicated this model to be the "Scrambler" version which implied some off-road capability. (This was before real dirt-bikes were gaining popularity.) It was really just a street bike with a higher rear fender, a braced handlebar, and a high-mount exhaust.

The CL100 was a full-featured motorcycle with a 100 cc 4 stroke engine 5-speed transmission with manual clutch, high mount exhaust with chrome heat-shield, full electrical system, including headlight (hi/lo beam), taillight, brakelight, turn-signals, horn, speedometer with neutral light, high-beam indicator, and odometer. The 100 cc engine produced 11.5 HP according to Honda. This was sufficient to propel the bike with a small rider to about 70 mph. The CL100 was also available in a model designated CL100S, which had a governer to reduce power to 5 HP to meet some state restrictions for younger operators. In this configuration, top speed was about 50 mph.

And it's goodbye from him

Tue, 17 Aug 2010

THIS IS Valentino Rossi's farewell letter to his Fiat Yamaha team following the announcement the flambouyant Italian is to head to Ducati MotoGP in 2011.The hand-written letter, mistakes and all, is written in almost a 'my first romance' kinda way. It's touching, if a little bizarre. Some of the letter reads:“Unfortunately even the most beautiful love stories finish, but they leave a lot of wonderful memories, like when my M1 and I kissed for the first time on the grass at Welkom, when she looked straight in my eyes and told me ‘I love you!'"Somehow, we can't see Casey Stoner gushing quite as freely when he leaves Ducati for Repsol Honda.

Honda NC700S and NC700X Coming to Canada – US Availability Still Uncertain

Wed, 23 Nov 2011

American Honda has not included the recently revealed NC700S and NC700X models in its 2012 list of offerings, but it looks like the two motorcycles will be available in Canada. Honda Canada has not made an official announcement but a dealership in Kelowna, B.C., has published a press release that appears to have come directly from Honda Canada saying the two models will be available in Canada in the summer of 2012. (EDIT: Honda Canada has confirmed the NC700 models will be at the Toronto Motorcycle Show Dec.

Awesome Anaheim Supercross

Fri, 11 Jan 2013

The highlight of this winter has to be my visit to last week’s Anaheim Californian Supercross.  I’ve followed this spectacular series on Motors TV but the atmosphere while watching the action live is something else. Forty five Yankee dollars gets you a good seat high in the stadium, with practice starting at 12.30pm and the main event kicking off at 7.30pm. If you are making a day of it however, I’d recommend buying a pit pass then you can get in full anorak mode to hassle the teams and riders for autographs and photos.  We conveniently made some new friends allowing us to do some pre event ‘tail gating’, a great concept which is basically barbecuing and downing beer around your vehicle in the surrounding car parks.  The evening race schedule is four hours of nonstop action starting with the capacity crowd standing for the American national anthem sung by a stunning blonde with a huge voice.
