This is an over-the-top restoration of a 1966 CL77. I purchased the motorcycle from the guy who restored it. He had an inventory of NOS parts for the restoration. Plus he worked for a chrome shop and what he didn't have NOS, he re-chromed it or bought new. I have never put gas in the tank; I never intended to ride it. I can contact the original owner if there are questions I can't answer. The bike has been displayed in my living room for the past eight years as a piece of art. The only time the bike has been outside the house was to the dealer Expo and bike show in Orlando last month. I transported it inside a van. It won a 1st place trophy. Shipping and insurance is the responsibility of the purchaser, but I will assist. However I prefer pickup in person so you can personally inspect the bike. $200 deposit on Paypal. 2013 Dakar Rally Results
Mon, 21 Jan 2013Cyril Despres won his fifth career Dakar Rally while helping KTM win for the 12th consecutive time, in taking the motorcycle class in the 2013 edition of the famed off-road race. KTM was again the dominant manufacturer with the top five finishers in the motorcycle class riding motorcycles from the Austrian manufacturer. Despres finished with an overall time of 43:24:22 for the win, including a 15-minute penalty for swapping an engine after the one he was using in his KTM 450 Rallye failed.
VTR-Powered Honda Lawnmower Sets Guinness World Record + Video
Wed, 02 Apr 2014A lawnmower powered by the engine from a Honda VTR1000F Superhawk has set a new Guinness record for the world’s fastest mower. Honda UK revealed its 996cc V-Twin-powered Mean Mower last summer, claiming it had been tested at a speed of 100 mph but could reach a theoretical top speed of 133 mph. Those claims were put to the test in March at the IDIADA Proving Ground in Tarragona, Spain, with an official Guinness World Records adjudicator on hand to observe.
Honda Team HRC To Compete In 2014 Dakar Rally
Fri, 20 Dec 2013Today Honda announced that through its official racing arm, Team HRC, the company will be tackling the 2014 Dakar Rally, one of the most grueling off-road races in the world. The race starts on January 5 and lasts until January 18. Five riders—Helder Rodrigues (Portugal), Sam Sunderland (United Kingdom), Javier Pizzolito (Argentina), Joan Barreda (Spain), and Paulo Goncalves (Portugal)—will ride the CRF450 Rally, a rally-racing bike specially developed for the 2014 Dakar.
