Honda CL description

This is my '66 scrambler. Awesome Running and riding motorcycle. This was a show bike of some kind way back in the good ol days. I bought this Cl77 in northern california about 2 years ago. The paint and chrome is in surviving condition from the late 60's early 70's that looks great. California title and current registration in my name. I rode this bike all last year and most of this year. Awesome for around town errands and cruising. The pipes sound really good with the tunable washers for baffles... Clutch, brakes and motor are running really good. The Transmission grinds into second sometimes but I never had any issues with it, worked great for me... The original Ignition key is cracked but still works. It is repairable and is good for duplication. Ive never had a problem with it so I have not fixed or made a copy... The lights work but will drain the battery while riding. These Scramblers were not meant to charge with light always on. They can charge only while riding with both lights off.The battery went bad. I do not have a new battery that will be included... I do not have a speedometer cable so I dont know the actual miles. The bike will start first kick with no choke everytime in my climate. Shes been sitting for about 3 months now so the carbs might need to be cleaned. I've let it sit longer and she would still always start in my experiences... The tires are cracked but I still ride it around town for 30 minute runs. The bike does not leak any oil or smoke one bit. The wheels are beautiful, the paint is Awesome (to me) but the seat does need a recover... The wiring could use a stock harness but for the most part all the original wiring is there and working. I know this scrambler isnt for the purist. An original condition scrambler is very cool. This is your chance to own a truly one of a kind CL77. No one in the world has one like this. Every where I go people are staring at this thing... Simply a beautiful bike customized perfectly in the early days. Thanks for looking

Joey Dunlop on a V4 Honda at the '83 TT

Fri, 28 Sep 2012

Onboard video footage doesn't get a lot better than this: Joey Dunlop during practice at the TT in 1983 onboard a factory Honda RS850R. An 859cc ultra-short stroke V4 Honda that Joey mastered around The Island, later winning the TT Formula 1. Although the 'production' race, the RS850R stretched that to the limit.

Isle of Man TT 2014: Sure Sidecar TT 2 Results

Thu, 05 Jun 2014

Dave Molyneux won his 17th career TT as he and passenger Patrick Farrance took the second Sidecar race of the 2014 Isle of Man TT. Molyneux is the career leader in Sidecar TT wins and third overall in total Isle of Man TT victories behind Joey Dunlop and John McGuinness. Molyneux and Farrance won the race by a good 44-second margin but they benefited greatly from a mechanical problem plaguing early race leaders John Holden and Andrew Winkle.

2022 Honda ADV350 First Look (from Afar)

Tue, 23 Nov 2021

We saw a bunch of Honda X-ADV scooters on our pass through Rome a few weeks ago, and felt jealousy. When American Honda invited us to ride a new minimoto last week, we hoped against hope… alas, it was the Navi. For the new year, we can be even more covetous, as Honda Europe now has an ADV350 that’s bigger, badder, and cooler.
