Honda CH150D tech info
Honda CH150D description
Due to losing dry storage space, we're looking to find our Elite a new home. We acquired this bike about three years ago with about 1300 miles. We have always considered this example to be an extremely reliable daily rider. During our ownership, we have replaced several maintenance items and have upgraded several components to improve performance and overall reliability. These items include:
-New Bridgestone MOLAS-9 Tires (3.5-10) -New brake shoes, front and rear -Upgraded to CH250 carburetor with the appropriate jetting -UNI pod filter -Governor removed from exhaust -New clutch assembly -Racing variator, drive face -Dr. Pulley slider weights With the upgrades, top speed has increased by over 10mph. Highway acceleration and pull is more than adequate. However, I wouldn't recommend prolonged highway use, as the braking system overheats quickly while at speed. Otherwise, drivability is for the most part, unchanged. Aside from what's listed above, the bike is original and unchanged. We're not in a huge hurry to move this bike on, so we don't mind waiting for the right buyer. The scooter is also listed locally, so we reserve the right to terminate the auction prior to ending. Please ask any and all questions before bidding. More pictures are always available upon request. Thanks for looking and happy bidding! |

WSBK 2013: Assen Race Report
Mon, 29 Apr 2013Tom Sykes earned his first win of the 2013 season and came a hair short of a double victory at the World Superbike Championship round at Assen in the Netherlands. Traditionally a fast starter and qualifier, Sykes started on the pole once again at Assen and had strong starts in both races. But unlike the first two rounds where he started strong before fading, the Kawasaki factory rider was able to remain at the front in both races at Assen and earn some valuable championship points.

Spa, onboard, at pace..
Thu, 12 Jan 2012Earlier this week we revised the 2012 MotoGP calendar and included Spa on the list. Yes, we know the chances of MotoGP going to Spa are thinner than a steam-rolled Supermodel but we like the thought of MotoGP going there. Check out this video of FIM 2009 World Superstock champion, Xavier Simeon, onboard a Honda CBR600RR, putting in a scorcher of a lap.
