We got this from the someone that bought it years ago from the original owner and never put the title in their name. They got it with the intention of making it new and got so far as buying new decals ( some are on and some are still rolled and waiting to be put on) .

The professional factory paint was sprayed on and then the stripes put on then it was clear coated.....it is perfect.

Seat is perfect

Honda line hard bags have no cracks or repairs and the paint show like new. The key fits ALL matched lock and keyed items .

The factory exhaust was replaced at one time with RC Engineering 6 into 2 system and sounds great. There is some surface rust showing around the collector pipes. No holes or weak spots and the baffles are still in place. There is a ding on the left lower pipe that looks like a rock hit it , hard to see unless you're looking for it.

Carbs will need an inspection  and cleaning with a suggested rebuild . The bike was sitting for years covering in a storeage unit. We used starting fluid to make it run and you can hear it in the video.

No cracks or repairs on the plastic but there is a repaired side cover tab that was done BEFORE painting, we almost missed seeing it.

Case savers have no pitting or any scrapes or rash

Gauge works , trip resets, lights on gauge work

All signals and headlight and breaklight work fine . No cracked lenses . Some dirt behind the fairing protective headlight glass.

Front master brake resorvor had some age cracking to the put on a new one and never refilled it.

Mirrors are original and have perfect glass and the rubber has no cracks.

No windshield and left side upper trim is missing, shown in the pictures

Front tire has age cracks and rear looks fine but is old

Brake calipers and rotors are in nice shape and work good( front is untested)

Gas tank has not one ding mark or scuff . inside has some surface rust from sitting and shouldn't need a Kreaming. Petcock is missing

All frame and prolink swing arm decals are in place and look very nice

No battery

There is no signs of every laying over since there no parts on the levers or the peg ends

Comes with the original owners manual and title. No tool kit but it does have the hard to find HONDA air gauge and pouch

We will help with shipping but it will still be up to the buyer to find and pay the carrier of their choice.......ebay motors has one they recommend and you can find the details on their page.

We tried to take as many pictures as we could , we even have a video of it running and have described it honestly. BUT condition is what the buyer intends to do with it.

We have  a licensed business in Nevada. I can be reached at 702-327-4321 .

$500.00 DEPOSIT IS DUE AT END OF LISTING AND WILL BE THROUGH PAYPAL, THE REMAINDER IS TO BE IN BANK CERTIFIED CASHIERS CHECK AND WILL BE VERIFIED . BIKE WILL NOT BE RELEASED UNTIL THE FUNDS HAVE COMPLETELY CLEARED.

thanks,

Kevin

Surely more wins are on the cards for Seeley and the 2011 Gixer?

Thu, 02 Jun 2011

The amazing Alex Lowes is deservedly grabbing all the attention in the BSB paddock at the moment, but I believe last year’s top Superbike rookie, Alistair Seeley is doing an equally impressive job in the Supersport class. Although he looks ten years younger, thirty one year old Seeley  is riding one of only two 2011 600 GSXRs (fellow countryman Marty Nutt is on the other) in the class. Alistair has finished on the podium four times including a race win at the opening Brand Hatch round and currently lies second in the championship.  He also took victory on the Gixer in the only race run at the North West 200 last month and was looking like the runaway winner last Sunday at Thruxton until electrical gremlins struck after opening up a seven second lead.

Results From Day 2 Of World Supersport Testing At Phillip Island

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

If there’s one constant when it comes to World Supersport racing, it’s that Kenan Sofuoglu will be at or near the front at all times. The former champ has a special ability when it comes to lapping middleweight sportbikes as quickly as possible, and it showed again at the conclusion of World Supersport testing at Phillip Island. Sofuoglu’s best time of 1:33.506 was set during the first day of testing, but still nobody was able to beat it.

Own A Scale Model Of The Elf5, One Of The Most Unique Racing Motorcycles Ever

Tue, 01 Oct 2013

If you’re a fan of scale model racing motorcycle kits, this 1/12 scale model of the Elf5 racer, as ridden by Ron Haslam in 1988, should make your mouth water. Designed by famous F1 designer André de Cortanze, the Elf5 was the culmination of a radical experiment by de Cortanze and Elf, the French petroleum giant. And even though it didn’t claim the racing success Cortanze and Elf had hoped, the experimental Elf motorcycles hold a distinctive place in motorcycle racing history, with some of its technology still in use today.  Powered by a Honda NSR500 V4 engine that served as a stressed member and main mounting structure for the single-sided swingarms both front and rear, this recently released scale model is based closely on the actual Elf5 racing machines. This full detailed kit maintains the single-sided suspension, with the front suspension consisting of aluminum alloy and springs that will be partly movable.
