1979 Honda CBX We are selling this for a collector who has consigned many motorcycles with us. His stuff is always top notch. Here is his description, we have looked the bike over and we agree with his description. TIM's paint for tank, tail and fender. Factory correct by the best Honda restoration shop in the country. Candy Red. Looks absolutely fantastic! New badges Incredibly rare NOS Honda brand exhaust. Not a reproduction. Beautiful with some bluing near engine. Battery Tender wired connection Always serviced by previous owner Great Bridgestone tires All receipts New fuel valve New battery Both original keys Includes1979 Michigan Plate (not originally on this bike). This is a beautiful survivor. And it looks fantastic! It has not been restored, it is just that clean. This is an extremely clean original engine. If you want to polish it, you've got a great starting point. If not, there nothing to do to the bike except ride it. It's been ridden locally to keep the fluids moving. It fires right up. Sounds great under the NOS Honda exhaust. You cannot find these anymore Everything on this bike is very, very clean and looks terrific. And as they always say with increasing prices on things, you are only original once. I know it's been repainted but this is a very original survivor. Runs and rides great, ready to enjoy! Isle of Man TT 2014: PokerStars Senior TT Results
Fri, 06 Jun 2014Michael Dunlop won his fourth race of the 2014 Isle of Man TT and 11th in his career, capping off this year’s event by taking the PokerStars Senior TT. It is the second-consecutive year that Dunlop has won four races in a single TT, this time capturing the Senior, Superbike, Superstock, and the second Supersport TT races. It took a while for Dunlop to get going.
American Honda Pledges $500,000 in Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief
Fri, 02 Nov 2012American Honda announced a pledge of $500,000 to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy. The contribution includes both monetary aide as well as Honda-produced portable generators and water pumps. Honda is also establishing a company fund, matching its associates’ personal contributions.
Recall on Kuryakyn Transformer Passenger Floorboards for Honda Gold Wing
Tue, 20 Dec 2011Accessory manufacturer Küryakyn is issuing a recall on its Transformer passenger floorboards for the 2001-2011 Honda Gold Wing. According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the mounts of the Küryakyn Transformer floorboards may crack and break free from the mounting bolts. The floorboards may unexpectedly fall off the motorcycle, potentially leading to a crash or injury.
