2014 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb To Use Airfence, Thanks To Honda Sponsorship

After a successful 2013 campaign in the 91st running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, where Honda’s own Jeff Tigert won the Pikes Peak 450 class and set a new record, Honda is stepping up its involvement for 2014, as both a sponsor and race participant, with plans to field products in seven distinct race classes. In addition, Honda will be working with the AMA and the Pikes Peak sanctioning body on improvements which will provide new levels of safety to the Motorcycle / ATV / UTV / Sidecar competitors. 2015 Honda CB300F Officially Announced

As we expected from previously released design trademark diagrams and certification from the California Air Resources Board, Honda has revealed a new naked version of the the CBR300R dubbed the CB300F. The 2015 Honda CB300F shares the same chassis and 286cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine as the CBR300R. The engine itself is similar to the CBR250R’s powerplant, but with the piston stroke increased to 63mm from 55mm.

Honda unveiled a new mid-sized naked standard using the 670cc parallel Twin engine and second-generation dual-clutch transmission. The new Honda NC700S is powered by the same 670cc Twin engine as the Integra motorcycle/scooter crossover and the NC700X. Designed to be lightweight and fuel-efficient, Honda claims an output of 46.9 hp at 6250 rpm and 44.3 ft-lb.
