2012 Honda Cbr 1000RR, Used 2012 CBR 1000RR in great condition. Original adult owner, never tracked or stunted. Red and black 20th anniversary edition model. Selling to help pay off grad school loans for wife. All service done so far by Blue Ridge Powersports in Harrisonburg, VA as per the owners manual. Custom installed parts include hot bodies racing under tail, competition werkes fender eliminator kit, Honda racing rear seat cowl, Sato Racing no-cut frame, spool, and handlebar sliders, Sato Racing street hooks, CRG roll-a-click levers, Puig double bubble dark smoke wind screen, integrated tail light with relay for correct signal speed (see video), Yoshimura RS-7 slip on exhaust in carbon fiber. Honda to Shift Mid and Large Displacement Motorcycle Production to Thailand
Tue, 29 Nov 2011Honda is reportedly moving production of 400cc and larger motorcycles to Thailand from Japan to reduce production costs and overcome the rising value of the yen. According to Japanese news outlet Daily Yomiuri, Honda plans to produce 400cc and 500cc models at a new factory to be built in the suburbs of Bangkok, Thailand. Honda currently produces small displacement models such as the CBR250R in Thailand, with larger models coming out of Honda’s factory in Kumamoto, Japan.
2013 Honda CBR500, CB500R and CB500X Spied in Commercial Shoot
Thu, 25 Oct 2012Spy photographers have captured Honda‘s new three-bike 500-series in the midst of filming for a commercial at the Piazza Garibaldi in Naples, Italy. The images, published on Il Centro, reveal Honda‘s new sportbike-styled CBR500, the naked CB500R which we first revealed in September, as well as an adventure-styled model bearing the name CB500X. The three new models are expected to share the same engine, believed to be a 470cc parallel twin.
2013 AMA Supercross San Diego Race Report
Mon, 11 Feb 2013Davi Millsaps captured his second main event win of the season and expanded his AMA Supercross championship lead to 19 points with a wire-to-wire victory at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. The Rockstar Energy Suzuki rider jumped ahead at the start for the holeshot and held that lead for the entire 20-lap race for the win. Finishing 2.386 seconds back was Team Honda Muscle Milk‘s Justin Barcia while Red Bull KTM‘s Ryan Dungey finished 10.300 seconds back for third place.
