Honda CBR description

This is the Honda Superbike homologation special that came out in 2014.   There is a version in 2015, and 2016 but those are both “Repsol” editions, this is the red, white and blue scheme that is used by the factory world superbike teams, this is the same theme ridden in 2016 by Nicky Hayden for the Ten-kate World Superbike team.

The “SP” version of the CBR1000RR has the following features not on the regular CBR:

·        Ohlins 43mm NIX Front forks

·        Ohlins TTX Shock

·        Brembo M50  Monoblock calipers

·        Slipper Clutch

·        Hand balanced and blueprinted engine by HRC (Honda Racing)

·        SP only clip-on handlebars

·        SP only rear sets with 10mm more rearward pegs

·        SP only solo seat and lightened subframe (no rear passenger accomodations)

·        Gold Wheels

Condition is like new.   There is one scratch on the right side engine cover from rubbing up against something.   I touched up that scratch with a black marker and it is so small I couldn’t get a good picture of it.   It only has 2084 miles.   Runs, starts, stops perfect, like the almost brand new bike that it is.

Modifications:
- T-Rex no-cut frame sliders.
- Billet brake and clutch levers
-front and rear stands available

Terms: Cash in person or if you are local, I am willing to take the bike to your bank to help you to finance after a deposit.    I’m not interested in trades, no wire transfers or paypal.   If want to buy this from a long distance I need $500 deposit in 3 days from auction end, then the remainder in a week.  If check payment, the check has to clear before I will release the bike to a shipper.  If you would like to test ride, put cash in my hand and you may ride it. If you're not happy that the bike is right (and you didn't crash) I'll give you your money back.

Shipping:  I'm happy to work with a shipper that you choose, but the cost and arrangement are completely on the buyer.   I've had good luck with a couple before and can suggest some.   You can get on You-ship and bid it out to your content, but I can not store it more than a couple of weeks, so it would have to be completed quickly.

Clear title in hand, clean history.

2023 Honda XL750 Transalp First Look

Tue, 08 Nov 2022

Middleweight ADV with the Hornet's 755cc engine Honda has brought back the Transalp name with the new XL750 Transalp, a middleweight adventure-tourer powered by the Parallel-Twin engine introduced on the Hornet CB750. Join the Honda Transalp Forum The Transalp name was first introduced on a 583cc V-Twin model in 1986, before gaining larger 647cc and 680cc versions. The new 2023 Honda XL750 Transalp fills the mid-sized adventure bike slot in Honda’s lineup, sliding in below the CRF1100L Africa Twin and providing more off-road capability than the NC750X and CB500X.

Getting a Taste of Honda’s E-Clutch Technology

Tue, 27 Aug 2024

Is E-Clutch revolutionary or an answer to a question nobody asked? Photos by Simon Cudby Honda has a history of pushing the boundaries when it comes to introducing new tech. Sometimes it’s for the better, other times… not so much.

Honda CB900F Bol D'or

Sun, 24 Feb 2013

Slick videos shot on HD GoPros (complete with dubstep soundtracks) are now common place. But back in the late 80s, self shot videos were much thinner on the ground, due to expensive camcorders that were about the same size as a petrol tank and probably just as heavy too.In a blast from the past, 'Old love' features a Honda CB900F Bol D'or and was posted online a few days ago by the self-proclaimed 'one of the quickest 'drivers' in Langenhagen, Germany': Jan Rosanka. The Blue Order remix is a great choice to accompany the short but my favourite scene is the friendly 'hi' to camera followed by the middle finger.
