Honda Recalls Small Number of the 2010 NT700 for Incorrect Tire Specs Label
Thu, 10 Nov 2011On October 27, 2011, Honda filed a recall campaign with the NHTSA (campaign ID number: 11V526000) involving the 2010 model-year NT700. The recall is for a swingarm-mounted label that displays incorrect tire size and inflation information. The 120 affected models were manufactured Nov.
2012 Honda NC700X Recalled in Canada
Wed, 19 Sep 2012Transport Canada has announced a recall for the 2012 Honda NC700X and (Edit: the recall now includes the NC700S, which is also available in Canada). At this point, the recall is only for the X model and only in Canada, but a similar recall may come from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for the U.S.-spec Honda NC700X. According to Transport Canada, the outer plates on the links of the drive chain may not have received proper heat treatment.
Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame Announces 2013 Induction Class

The Hall also announced it will add one new member to its Freedom Fighters Hall of Fame. For 2013, the Hall will welcome to its ranks motorcycle attorney Russ Brown, custom chopper builder Rick Fairless (pictured above), Harley-Davidson dealer Bill Gikling, actor Marjoe Gortner of the television special “Sturgis: The Great Ride”, and antique motorcycle expert Lonnie Isam, Sr.
