2012 Honda CBR 600RR for sale. This is the non-ABS model. No modifications have been done to this bike, only a brand new battery less than a month old. I am selling this bike because I have recently purchased a Ducati Hypermotard 821 SP. Sadly, I cannot have both. The bike has not been taken to the track, and has never fallen. Only damage is a scratch on a turn signal-light, thanks to one of my parking neighbors. Runs great. Always parked inside a garage. Title is clear. For riders like me, the Middleweight class is easily outgrown within 1-2 years of practice riding. Don't make the same mistake I made, the bike was $12,400 new ($14,200 total since I extended the dealer warranty to 4 years instead of 1). Are Motorcycles Safer With Antilock Brakes?
Tue, 30 Dec 2008A new report says riders with ABS-equipped bikes can dramatically reduce the chance of a fatal accident. The study compared fatality rates among riders on bikes that have antilock brakes, and it found that death rates were 38% lower on motorcycles equipped with the optional ABS systems compared to non-ABS bikes. In 2005-2006, the fatal crashes per 10,000 registered motorcycles without antilock brakes was 6.6.

Recall for 2008-2010 Honda ST1300
Mon, 18 Jul 2011Honda is recalling certain 2009-2010 ST1300 sport touring motorcycles due to a risk of a brake fluid leakage. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the pre-formed hose supplying fluid from the rear brake reservoir to the rear brake master cylinder is routed in a way that puts it at risk of damage. When the Honda ST1300 is heavily loaded and ridden over rough surfaces, the rear suspension may bottom out, causing the hose to contact the swingarm.
