Honda CBR description
2010 Honda CBR1000RRA, MOUNTAIN MOTORSPORTS - The word is out: the remarkable Honda CBR1000RRA takes open-class performance to a whole new level of excitement. Although it's physically small for amazingly crisp-handling, the CBR1000RRA retains the rider-friendly ergonomics that make it a great street bike, too. Honda's innovative Electronically Controlled Combined ABS — the first Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) designed specifically for the unique demands of sportbikes — gives the CBR1000RRA superb braking capability. And for 2010 a redesigned flywheel means even smoother power delivery and improved performance from the compact, fuel-injected engine.

2010 Honda V4 Teaser [video]
Tue, 25 Aug 2009Based on the concept model unveiled last October at Intermot 2008, the new motorcycle is expected to be a sport-tourer powered by a 1200cc V-4 engine with variable cylinder technology which can allow it to run on only two cylinders to conserve fuel. There are also rumors that the motorcycle will have a semi-auto gear box which will give the rider the option of going manual or automatic. Honda has a dedicated website for the V4 where you can enter for a chance to win a spot to be one of the first to test drive the new bike, unfortunately, the contest is only open to Europeans. Hit the jump to see the new promo video (you can hear what the motorcycle sounds like!) and an interview with design project leader, Teofilo Plaza.
On Board the 2012 Honda CBR1000RR with Jake Zemke
Wed, 21 Dec 2011Veteran AMA racer Jake Zemke was on hand for the recent press intro for the 2012 Honda CBR1000RR. We asked Jake to go a couple of laps for us at Infineon Raceway with our GoPro camera to show us what it’s like to ride the CBR for someone used to pushing the bike to its limits. Check out the onboard video after the jump.
Blind car drivers? It's your fault. Really, it is
Thu, 23 Sep 2010Be seen, you Making car drivers see you is an art form that you learn from experience and narrow scrapes. It’s a fact of riding a bike that you’re harder to see than a double decker bus, it’s obvious isn’t it? You're small, fast and mostly, totally obscured by the average A-pillar.
