Honda CBR description
I am selling my 2008 Honda CBR600RR. I hate to part with
it, but I don't ride it enough anymore to justify holding onto it. Its a very clean bike and has low miles for
its age. I've been the only owner of the bike. I upgraded a few things
on it since I've owned it. Including Two Brothers exhaust, flush
mounted LED signals, mirrors with LED turn signals, and a tail
eliminator with LED brake light and signals. I also changed the front
sprocket, 1 tooth down, to get a bit more acceleration, put on a pair of
sliders and a different windshield.
I've never been a stunt type person with it, so I've never done wheelies or burnouts or anything like that with it. Unfortunately, I've never had a decent place to store it inside over the riding season, so the wind has knocked it over a few different times. The slider always caught it first, but it still did get some minor scuffs on a couple different pieces of the plastic. Other than that, there has been no major damage to the bike. It's always been stored inside over the winter months. I changed the oil+filter, and also put new tires on it last summer, they have about 1,000 miles on them. I also put a new battery in it this spring. Thanks for looking! |

John McGuinness rides the electric future
Sun, 16 Jun 2013Jump onboard with John McGuinness as he heads from the start line on his Shinden Ni / Mugen electric motorcycle in the TT Zero race. One wonders whether Honda would have announced that it is actually a Honda if McGuinness had taken the win. There's certainly plenty of Honda money behind the bike.
I'm buying a Honda SH300i scooter
Thu, 06 Feb 2014I want to buy a second bike to get across town on the daily commute as I currently ride a 183bhp ZX-10R to work and while it's a peach of a bike, it tempts me into doing bad things on a daily basis. This has to stop. My criteria is fairly simple: I want something that is cheap to buy (close to £2k), cheap to run, frugal on the fuel, easy to ride, nimble through traffic, dull enough to not get nicked and ABS is a deal-maker.
EICMA 2013: 2014 Honda CBR300R Revealed at EICMA
Mon, 04 Nov 2013The new Honda CBR300R already made its world premiere earlier this month at the 2013 CIMAMotor show in China, but the entry-level sportbike has now made its European debut at the 2013 EICMA show, with full details and specs released. Follow the rest of our 2013 EICMA show coverage Replacing the CBR250R in most western markets, the new CBR300R offers an extra 37cc in displacement and styling inspired from the CBR1000RR. As we previously reported, the 286cc engine was achieved by increasing the stroke of the 250′s engine by 8 mm to 63mm and keeping the bore at 76mm.
