Honda CBR description

2007 Honda Cbr 1000RR, 2007 CBR1000RR has 11,600 miles and will go up as I continue to ride it. This is a great bike! Runs really strong and sounds great, has a two brothers exhaust, shorty adjustable levers, frame sliders, swing arm spools, tinted wind screen, and six inch swing arm extenders. Lowered about 2 inches. I have a brand new front tire for it just haven't had a chance to put it on and the rear tire will need to be changed next season but is ok the rest of the year unless you like to burn the tires off! lol. Asking $6,500 but I will negotiate with reasonable offers cash only, the only trade I will consider is on a 60s or early 70s muscle car. No joy rides and no test rides. Jacobsen, 18, was originally announced as part of PTR’s six-member WSS team in December but funding issues saw him dropped in favor of Jules Cluzel before the season started in March.

Helmet Law Upheld in Ontario

Tue, 16 Jun 2009

A Sikh in Ontario, Canada, has lost his challenge to the $110 ticket he received back in September 2005 for not wearing a helmet while riding his Honda Shadow.  Baljinder Badesha, 39, claims the Ontario helmet law is “100 per cent” discrimination no matter what the safety issues are when riding without a helmet. We cannot put anything over the turban, it is against our religion.  Mr. Badesha said outside court.

Electric Motorcycle Conversion [video]

Fri, 30 Jul 2010

If you were ever curious how to convert your smelly, noisy and dirty gas powered motorcycle into a quiet and zero emissions electric motorcycle then you have to check this video out from GomiStyle.  They take an old Honda Rebel 250 and customize the frame to accommodate the electric motor and batteries, they claim the conversion should take about two to three days to complete, the batteries will take about 5-8 hours to charge and will give you a top speed of 45 mph. Here is a link to the step-by-step instructions, check out the video after the jump. The GomiCycle – An Electric Motorcycle Conversion from Media Sapien on Vimeo.
