Honda CBR description

As the title states, I am looking to sell my 2006 Honda CBR 600 F4i for $4,250 OBO.

*PLEASE* No low ballers. Serious buyers only.

Technically, I am the second owner of this sportbike.  My brother was the original owner of the bike up until about 4,800 miles when the titled was transferred over to me.

Condition:
No mechanical issues whatsoever.  The condition of the bike is normal wear and tear, as would be expected with a low mileage bike.  Roughly half of the miles on the bike are from riding on the freeway and the other half of the miles on the bike are from riding through town.  While the bike is sitting on the kickstand, the piping on the M2 exhaust comes into close contact with the swing arm; however, once the bike is under load, there is no issue with the exhaust pipe and the swing arm.

Info:
-No salvage title
-Registration is valid until February 2014
-Recent general bike service done at 10,456 miles
-Currently has 10, 847 miles
-Custom powder coated rims - Jollypop blue w/ silver sparkle. Done by Maas Brothers Powder Coating in Livermore
-55W ballast & 6000K HID kit from DDM Tuning
-Custom white w/ blue flames fairings from NiceCyle.Com
-Zero Gravity Double Bubble Windscreen Dark Smoke
-Two brothers Carbon Fiber M2 Exhaust
-Installed trickle charger
-Aftermarket alarm system w/ remote
-Harris ProGrips Blue

Not willing to ship.  Pickup only!

Test rides are allowed with cash in hand.  Serious buyers only.  If you request a test ride and show up without the cash in hand, you will not be offered a test ride.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me and I will try to get back to you as soon as I can.

Honda is recalling over 20,000 Shadows in the US

Fri, 29 Jan 2016

Honda is recalling 22,142 motorcycles from shipments produced between 2010 and 2016. The reason was the vibration from the engine, which over time leads to chafing of the fall sensor wire in the common harness. Dealers promise to move the wire to another location and replace the sensor free of charge.

Tue, 20 Dec 2011

R&G Racing have released the first available tail tidy and crash protection accessories for the 2012 Honda Fireblade This is what R&G have to say about the new products for the 2012 Fireblade: Crafted from 2mm thick stainless steel for lightness and powder-coated black for a high quality finish, the Tail Tidy is easy to install and comes with comprehensive, step-by-step fitting instructions. Currently the only product of its type available for the 2012 Honda CBR1000RR, the £79.99 Tail Tidy features an ultra bright LED number plate light and can retain the standard Honda indicators or be used with R&G’s own Micro Indicators (£27.49). Also included in the box are spacer options for the indicator mounts to work round different size number plates.

Things I wouldn't like to race: Part 1

Mon, 25 Jul 2011

Now I know that Mike Hailwood raced a 6-cylinder Honda but that's no excuse for this CBX I spotted at the Bikers Days Spa Classic. The 1047cc, inline 6 cylinder, 24 Valve, DOHC Honda might be a feat of engineering brilliance but it looks like it would be a right handful on track. I've added a picture of an oil tanker to give you an idea of just how long the CBX's wheelbase really is.
