I have a 2006 CBR1000RR it just had tons of cosmetic upgrades done to it this past summer. New... Bacardi Fairings, windscreen, T-Rex Frame sliders and rear spools, powder coated rims, blade clutch and brake levers, under tail license plate, pig spotter 2 mirrors, and flush mount turn signals. plus a new battery and yoshimura rs-5 slip on put on. This bike was my daily driver for the past few years and runs great oil changes were done every 3000 miles or 3 months (typically the 3 months came first) with mobile 1 synthetic racing. YOU WILL NOT SEE ANOTHER BIKE AS CLEAN, MAINTAINED AND GOOD LOOKING as this bike especially for the price. 2012 Honda NC700X Recalled in Canada
Wed, 19 Sep 2012Transport Canada has announced a recall for the 2012 Honda NC700X and (Edit: the recall now includes the NC700S, which is also available in Canada). At this point, the recall is only for the X model and only in Canada, but a similar recall may come from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for the U.S.-spec Honda NC700X. According to Transport Canada, the outer plates on the links of the drive chain may not have received proper heat treatment.
New MotoGP Rules for ECU and Factory Status for 2014
Fri, 26 Jul 2013The Grand Prix Commission released new rules for the 2014 MotoGP season regarding the standard electronic control unit and what constitutes “factory status” for manufacturers. Starting in 2014, the official MotoGP ECU including internal datalogger from Magneti Marelli will become mandatory. Factory teams will be allowed to program their own ECU software while privateers will be required to run the standard software.
