Honda CBR description
2005 Honda CBR 1000RR Repsol Edition
- Always garaged
- Low miles: 3085
- New Bridgestone front and rear tires (purchased January 2013)
- Switched to lighter sprocket & chain combination (520 chain)
- Using shorter 15/42 gearing than stock
- A Speedohealer is installed to compensate for the gearing change (keeps the speedometer accurate)
- The Speedohealer is plug and play and can be removed at any time
- Black Vortex rearsets
- Clear Alternatives integrated tail light (brake lights and turn signals combined)
- Greggs flush mount front turn signals
- "Larry's" license plate bracket (this and the integrated tail light eliminates the bulky stock rear fender)
- Arata Ti slip-on exhaust
- The passenger pegs have been removed (the stock passenger pegs are included)
- The kick stand sensor is currently disabled, but can be easily enabled
- The rear brake light is currently disabled, but can be easily enabled
- I have the sponsorship decals that you sometimes see on similar bikes - they are included. In the photo of the front you may notice only one side has the PS2 decal. This is because a microfiber cleaning cloth caught the edge of the other decal while cleaning the bike. I have another decal, but it wasn't on the bike when the photo was taken.

WSBK 2013: Portimao Race Report
Mon, 10 Jun 2013Marco Melandri and Eugene Laverty split a pair of victories at Portugal’s Portimao circuit while Sylvain Guintoli took advantage of some misfortune to his championship rivals to increase his lead in the 2013 World Superbike Championship standings. Guintoli has been leading or sharing the lead in the championship since winning the first race of Round 1 in Australia, but amazingly continues to lead despite having just that single victory after six rounds. The Aprilia rider has accomplished this through his consistency (Guintoli leads all racers with nine podium finishes in 12 races) and ability to finish each race (he’s the only rider in the top seven without a DNF).
Ronax 500 – the Street Legal Two-Stroke GP Replica
Mon, 09 Jun 2014After teasing us for nearly two months, German brand Ronax has revealed its 500cc two-stroke sportbike. Ronax isn’t saying it’s a street-legal replica of the Honda NSR500 that Valentino Rossi rode to win the 2001 Grand Prix world championship – probably because they legally can’t – but that’s essentially what the 500 is. Honda Developing V4 MotoGP Production Racer
Fri, 22 Jun 2012Honda is reportedly developing a production racer based on its RC213V racebike that could be sold to teams looking to compete in MotoGP. The new racebike is expected to be of a lower-spec than the RC213V prototype but perform better than a CRT machine with a production-based engine. According to a report by racing site MotoMatters and French magazine Moto Journal, the new V4-engined production racer will be sold to race teams instead of being leased, as is the case with current satellite teams and their race prototypes.
