Honda CBR tech info
Honda CBR description
I'm selling my "sickest" toy, which is this CBR954RR rocket with wheels. I hate to part with it, but honestly it's too fast for me. It's not a bike to be taken lightly. Topping out at 185 MPH, I let the throttle go because that was enough for me. It is a street-legal motorcycle with a 4-cylinder 954cc engine that seems like a V-12. This bike is seriously fast.
The bike is stretched for comfort and safety, so the front end won't pop up on me as easily. It has an adjustable extended swingarm. All you would need is a different size chain if you decide to adjust it. It has performance aftermarket front brake rotors. Make sure to use both the foot brake and the hand brake to avoid doing a nose stand. :) Despite the insane performance, this bike has convenient features. It seats two comfortably with swing-out passenger pegs and an extra set of pegs farther up so you can stretch your legs while riding. Electric start, digital speedo, trip odometer, clock, digital temperature readout, low fuel indicator, neutral and kickstand indicators. Most of all, it has a big, in-your-face, easy-to-read analog tachometer. Fuel capacity is around 4.8 gallons for long rides. I'm including the helmet and a pair of safety glasses. Year/Make/Model: 2002 Honda CBR954RR Fireblade Custom extended swingarm with wide range of adjustable stretch Performance aftermarket aluminum alloy and stainless steel front brake rotors Oil is clean Runs great, only fed premium gas and well taken care of. No issues at all. This monster will take off and give you all the pleasure and excitement you'd expect; please be careful because this is no toy. Mileage: about 29,307 -- this mileage is approximate and may go up slightly as I do take it out for a test run now and then Clean title in hand $4900 OBO. Serious inquiries only. Please, no lowball offers. I'm not in a huge rush sell my bike, but you will surely be getting a mean machine and a total adrenaline rush, that's a bet! |

Honda RC-E Electric Sportbike Revealed at 2011 Tokyo Motor Show
Wed, 30 Nov 2011We’re still waiting for any technical details but here are initial photographs Honda has released of its new RC-E electric sportbike concept at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. (Updated with six more high-resolution images.) Honda describes the RC-E as an electric version of a supersports bike, claiming a powerful and smooth ride for an electric vehicle within the compact form of a 250cc-class motorcycle. The images clearly show Brembo calipers and Ohlins suspension, and we especially like the LED headlights and the retro styling.
Honda Announces CBR400R, CB400F and 400X for Japan
Tue, 12 Mar 2013Honda confirmed it will produce a 399cc version of its new 500-series motorcycles for the Japanese market. The Honda CBR400R, CB400F and 400X will be offered in Japan instead of their respective 500 versions, as they are a better fit to the country’s tiered licensing system than the CBR500R, CB500F and CB500X. The new 400 models should come as no surprise after Honda announced in February it would produce a smaller version of the 471cc engine used in the 500 series.
Riding The Arctic Circle…On A Honda C90
Tue, 21 May 2013Ed March isn’t your typical motorcyclist. He chose to take a motorcycle journey to the Arctic Circle in the dead of winter. While many people would consider this a crazy idea in itself, March’s choice of motorcycle — a Honda C90 — will probably shock many more.
