Honda CBR description

This is a very well maintained 2002 Honda CBR600F4i. Has smoke windscreen, headlight eyes decal, clear L.E.D. front turn signals, rear tire hugger, under tail fender eliminator kit with turn signals, and custom powder coated clutch and front brake lever and driver / passenger peg sets. Also has Micron two tone slip on exhaust that has a GREAT sound. New battery installed in January 2016 and kept on battery tender. Current milage is about 10,400 and may increase as I occasionally ride if weather permits. The bike has always been adult ridden and garage kept; never raced or dropped. I am the original owner. The helmets DO NOT come with the auction. If you want the helmets, add $200 to winning bid price.  This bike is turn key ready to ride!!

Only selling because I also own a  2003 VTX1800c V-Twin cruiser that I ride more now that I am older.

I am also listing the bike locally, so if I get cash in hand prior to auction ending I reserve the right to cancel the auction.

Winning bidder is responsible for all shipping arrangements. Will not ship outside of the continental U.S. I would be willing to deliver within 60 miles of my location but only after all funds are received via PayPal or a certified check that has cleared.

Feel free to ask any questions.

2014 Honda CRF125F, CRF125F Big Wheel Announced

Tue, 09 Jul 2013

Honda announced a new off-road model with two wheel size options for 2014. The new Honda CRF125F and the CRF125F Big Wheel variant replace the outgoing CRF80F and CRF100F youth models, just as the CRF110F replaced the CRF70F in the 2013 model year. Essentially, in two years, Honda has replaced three of its long-serving youth-oriented off-road bikes with new larger-displacement models while maintaining the dimensions of the previous models to provide options for kids of varying heights.

MotoGP to Standardize ECU Software in 2016 Season

Tue, 18 Mar 2014

MotoGP‘s Grand Prix Commission announced the series will adopt a standardized Engine Control Unit hardware and software programming for all entries starting with the 2016 season. At the moment, all teams are required to use a standard ECU hardware supplied by Magneti Marelli. Teams competing under the Factory option are allowed to use their own proprietary software programming while Open option participants must use standardized software.

Moto2 needs more radical bikes

Wed, 05 Sep 2012

Makers of fine exhausts, Taylormade Racing have built a Moto2 racer that harks back to the innovative machines like the Elf Honda 500 and Britten V1000. Since Moto2's inception in 2010 the class has featured bikes with conventional chassis but the Taylormade bike, designed by Paul Taylor and John Keogh, has a radical design featuring a carbon-fibre monocoque frame, carbon-fibre swingarm, wishbone monoshock front suspension and an under-seat radiator. However, with such radical engineering the inherent problem is that it is a risk for teams to invest in such a project.
