Honda CBR description

Many upgrades..Yoshimura pipes, Electroluminescent dials, Corbin Seat. Has new Front and rear Sprocket and chain. Rear Disc and Brakes. Have original seat and OEM lights. All clear lens on all light. Clear title and in hand. Run like a dream and a great ride. I am getting older and looking to get a Touring bike. Have always loved the blackbird. Garage kept and very nice looking for a 16year old bike. Minor wear on casing and rear handle grip does not take away from bike appearance. Tires have plenty of road left. Will come with Rocket tank bag.

FIM to Revise WSBK Homologation Requirements

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

The International Motorcycling Federation is considering modifying its homologation requirements for the World Superbike Championship following Bimota‘s somewhat surprising plans to re-enter the series. Under current regulations, manufacturers must produce a minimum number of motorcycles for it to be eligible to compete in the production-based WSBK championship. The official regulations currently require a minimum of 125 units produced for an initial homologation inspection, 500 units produced by June 30 of the current year, 1,000 units by the end of the current year and 2,000 units by the end of the following year.

2010 Honda V4 Teaser [video]

Tue, 25 Aug 2009

Based on the concept model unveiled last October at Intermot 2008, the new motorcycle is expected to be a sport-tourer powered by a 1200cc V-4 engine with variable cylinder technology which can allow it to run on only two cylinders to conserve fuel.  There are also rumors that the motorcycle will have a semi-auto gear box which will give the rider the option of going manual or automatic. Honda has a dedicated website for the V4 where you can enter for a chance to win a spot to be one of the first to test drive the new bike, unfortunately, the contest is only open to Europeans. Hit the jump to see the new promo video (you can hear what the motorcycle sounds like!) and an interview with design project leader, Teofilo Plaza.
