I have for sale my 1996 Honda CBR 900rr. This bike has only 19k miles and has had the same adult owner since 2003. I have recently installed new Metzeler Sportec M3 tires (less than 1k miles) and a gel cell battery. The only modifications are a Yoshimura muffler, K&N filter, low profile front turn signals and hidden rear turn signals. This is strictly an adult maintained and ridden motorcycle, so it has not been abused. The only known defects are a couple of cracks in the right hand mid fairing and one small 1/4" long crack in the tail above the tail light. Fri, 31 Dec 2010An erratic work schedule combined with a full season of kids racing means, there aren’t many opportunities during the summer months for the Mackenzie family to grab a holiday. Instead, we tend to save our pennies and head off somewhere sunny for Christmas. I love doing this as it shortens the UK winter but more importantly it means I miss the festive frenzy. I do like Christmas, but I hate how everyone gets caught up in the retail madness that kicks off just before Halloween, then has everyone stressed (and skint)before Santa has even hitched up his sleigh.
John McGuinness rides the electric future

One wonders whether Honda would have announced that it is actually a Honda if McGuinness had taken the win. There's certainly plenty of Honda money behind the bike.

Mon, 28 Apr 2014Heavy rains and a fortuitous red flag were the difference in the World Superbike Championship‘s visit to The Cathedral of motorcycle racing, the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands. Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli captured his second win of the season in Race 1, which was halted early by a red flag with five laps to go just as it looked like reigning WSBK champion Tom Sykes was gearing up for a final challenge. The second race was also shortened, not by a red flag but because of a rain, turning the 21-lap race into a 10-lap sprint.
