I have for sale my 1996 Honda CBR 900rr. This bike has only 19k miles and has had the same adult owner since 2003. I have recently installed new Metzeler Sportec M3 tires (less than 1k miles) and a gel cell battery. The only modifications are a Yoshimura muffler, K&N filter, low profile front turn signals and hidden rear turn signals. This is strictly an adult maintained and ridden motorcycle, so it has not been abused. The only known defects are a couple of cracks in the right hand mid fairing and one small 1/4" long crack in the tail above the tail light. Wed, 13 Jun 2012Casey Stoner's decision to retire at the end of the season has had a real shake-up for the Repsol Honda line-up along with the discussion, rumour and speculation of who will take his vacated seat for next season. With silly season occurring much earlier following Stoner's announcement at the French GP in May, rumours and speculation have been banded around with three candidates leading the way: Jorge Lorenzo, Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez. Lorenzo, until he was confirmed to stick with Yamaha for another two seasons, was the most plausible of the trio as both himself and Casey are the top two riders in the world right now, making him the obvious choice after the Australian departs.
2013 European Junior Cup to Use Honda CBR500R
Wed, 14 Nov 2012As expected, Honda announced its new CBR500R sportbike will be featured in the 2013 European Junior Cup, a single-spec racing series that competes at European rounds of the World Superbike Championship. We saw this coming when Honda announced it would supply an all new sportbike for the European Junior Cup, but the news wasn’t official until after Honda unveiled the CBR500R alongside its siblings the CB500F and CB500X at the 2012 EICMA Show. Plus this also gives us an excuse to run a 39-picture gallery of the new CBR500R after the jump.
