Primarily a Honda CBR F3. Stripped down to the frame and swing arm. Cut about 15lbs of mounts off, and then had both powder coated. The engine comes from a F2. Custom wire harness. THERE ARE NO GUAGES. Removed the muffler and wrapped the headers - just a chrome tip at the end of the headers. If you want a muffler, I have a twin brothers I will include. Lots of little upgrades all over. Carbs professionally rejetted and tuned. New sprocket gearing for acceleration. Rear plastics have a few cracks. Tank and wheels could use paint. Tittle is clean and based off the frame. Battery, tires, and everything in good condition. 100% roadworthy and fun to ride. Local pickup only from 79934 zip code. If you want to ship it, that is buyers responsibility. For medical reasons, I can't help you load it. $500 deposit is due with 24 hours of auction end. 2014 AMA Supercross – Daytona Results
Mon, 10 Mar 2014Ryan Villopoto was dominant in Daytona, leading all 20 laps to win his third race of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki ride strengthened his hold on the 2014 AMA Supercross championship lead, padding his lead over Red Bull KTM riders Ryan Dungey and Ken Roczen. The reigning three-time champion was far and away the fastest racer on the Daytona International Speedway infield, posting lap times more than a second faster than anyone else.
US Motorcycle Sales First Half 2011 Results
Thu, 28 Jul 2011The U.S. motorcycle industry saw a 4.6% decrease in year-on-year sales over the first six months of 2011, thanks mostly to a 17.3% drop in ATV sales. Motorcycle and scooter sales however saw a 1.7% bump in the first half .
OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes
Sat, 01 Nov 2008KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
