A friend of mine's wife had their first baby a couple years ago and she has forbid him from riding motorcycles. She didn't even want it in their garage anymore so he asked me to sell it for him since he doesn't do EBay. It has been sitting for 2 years but has been on a battery charger and starts right up. It will probably need a tune up and oil change. 1993 Honda CBR900RR. 23 year old bike with 23K miles. Very nice shape for the year. Some light paint touch-ups but nothing serious. No cracks in the plastics. Still has original owners manual. All electrical: lights, blinkers, horn, brakes, etc. work correctly. I would think this bike most likely is getting close to being a classic. He said he paid close to $5K five years ago. He said he put on a better muffler that is carbon fiber that cost a lot. Also new Michelin rear tire right before he parked it. He also had a Hinson clutch installed. He claims he has close to $6K into this bike. I told him I would start it low and see where it goes. It has a clean and clear MA title. He already signed it but did not date it so it is ready for new owner to sign and date and take to the registry. Good luck bidding!! He says sell it! NO RESERVE. ........I have since been told by another EBayer who emailed me that this is a very early production 1st year model as dated on the VIN tag....that is pretty cool !!!
