Honda CBR description

Not a museum piece. Nice daily rider. I just went thru bike and replaced things to make it a better bike. Tires, plugs, air filter, Corbin seat, sprockets, battery, levers, control rubbers and slip on exhausts. Front fender and mirrors were faded to dark pink. I had them professionally sprayed with original red, along with grab handle as it had some marks. Bike shifts like butter and runs great.   I can deliver this within a reasonable distance. Previous owner installed heavier fork springs. Stock seat and spring come with bike if wanted.

Hot on-board laps of Cadwell with Josh Brookes

Thu, 30 Sep 2010

You've got to be reasonably mental to ride a 200bhp Superbike on slicks around the narrow cart track that is Cadwell Park. We've met Josh Brookes a few times and we can vouch that he qualifies highly for the task in hand. That's a compliment, by the way.

2013 Honda CB500F, CB500X and CBR500R Recalled in Australia

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

Honda has recalled its 2013 CB500F, CB500X and CBR500R models in Australia because of a defect that could cause an oil leak. At the moment, no recall has been announced for the U.S., though there is a good possibility one will be announced shortly, as all 500-series models are manufactured in the same Honda factory in Thailand. There is a similar recall for the Japanese market for the CB400F, CB400X and CBR400R, which are mechanically identical to Honda’s 500-series models, but with a smaller engine to meet the country’s tiered licensing requirements.  According to the Australian and Japanese recall notices, the rocker arm shaft sealing bolt may come loose, causing oil to leak from the engine.

2012 Honda CRF250L – New Dual Sport with CBR250R Engine

Thu, 01 Dec 2011

The 2011 Tokyo Motor Show has produced a number of new concepts but there is at least one new production model. Honda premiered a new dual-sport powered by a 249cc engine reportedly based on the CBR250R’s power plant. The 2012 Honda CRF250L is a step up from the CRF230L and its carbureted air-cooled 223cc SOHC engine.
