Honda CB description

Up for auction is a 1972 Honda CB-350. The bike really looks nice for it's age, it has the original color of reddish orange which has faded somewhat.  The seat is in very good condition. I bought the bike 5 years ago when hearing gas prices were going to go $5.00 a gallon, believe it or not I never rode it being I never got licensed and now my hip problem prevents me from riding it. The mileage on the bike is incredible low only 28,833.5 miles.

The bike I'm sure is pretty original as I didn't do anything to it, nor the person I bought it from did and I believe he was the original owner.  but I'm not an expert on bikes or a mechanic so I am selling the bike as you see it. I do know it ran great when I bought it five years ago, but now it will need another battery as I remember buying a new one five years ago, but that one is now dead. I was told the carb might need to be cleaned, as stated above I'm not a mechanic so it will be up to you to get it in perfect running order.

There was some gas in the tank when I bought it five years ago, (I did put stabilizer in it while it has been sitting) but now it has evaporated and the tank is currently empty.

Everything looks good on the bike, all I think it needs is a tuneup and a good polish.

NOTE* It expect $500.00 immediately upon the end of the auction and there is a winning bidder. I expect the balance to be paid with in 7 days of the completion of the auction. It will be the bidder's responsibility to find the carrier to deliver your bike. You certainly can come by my house to pick it up it you live close enough to do so. Once the bike is sold it is no longer my responsibility in anyway. It is being sold as is with no warranty on any kind.

Please ask all questions while auction is running.

Good-Luck on your bidding of this awesome vintage bike.

Ryan Villopoto won his fifth race of the season while James Stewart took second place to just barely remain in contention for the 2014 AMA Supercross title. Meanwhile it was a bitter-sweet podium for third-place finisher KTM‘s Ryan Dungey who was officially mathematically eliminated from title contention. Racing in his home town of Seattle, Wash., Villopoto led every lap en route to an easy win, his fifth of the season.

Cyril Despres won his fifth career Dakar Rally while helping KTM win for the 12th consecutive time, in taking the motorcycle class in the 2013 edition of the famed off-road race. Despres finished with an overall time of 43:24:22 for the win, including a 15-minute penalty for swapping an engine after the one he was using in his KTM 450 Rallye failed.

Rumored 2013 Honda CBR500, CB500 Captured in Spy Photos

Wed, 12 Sep 2012

Spy photos have emerged out of Thailand depicting two new Honda motorcycles reputed to be a new CBR500 and a second, naked version, possibly to be named a CB500. The photos were posted on the CBR250.net forum by someone claiming to have inside knowledge of the new 500cc Honda models which would be produced in Thailand where the CBR250R is currently manufactured. The faired version is equipped with dual headlights like the Honda CBR600RR instead of the VFR1200-derived Y-shaped light used on the CBR250R and its smaller siblings the CBR125R and CBR150 offered in some markets.
