I have a basically new '13 CB1000R. It comes with a Pit Bull Single sided swingarm stand, phone holder, accessory outlet, and is prewired for a battery tender. The bags are NOT included in the sale as I'll sell them separately. I want to keep it but it's just too tall for me as I'm only 5'5". It's got 1,700 miles on it and it had the first 600 miles service performed. Clean title in hand, never down, wrecked, bumped into, knocked over, not modified. . Basically new. Test rides welcome but cash in hand before it leaves my garage. I'm not open to trades. I will not be responsible for shipping this bike. The purchaser is responsible for pick up, delivery, shipping, etc. The starting bid is the minimum price I will accept for the bike. Please do not ask me to sell for less as it's just not going to happen. Several people have asked and I hope that by putting this sentence in the description, this will not happen in the future. Tue, 12 Jun 2012Max Biaggi strengthened his hold on the 2012 World Superbike Championship lead with a pair of wins at Italy’s Misano circuit. The Aprilia rider out-battled the Althea Ducati duo of Carlos Checa and Davide Giugliano to win Race One before taking a relatively easier Race Two victory. Before the races, WSBK riders lined up on the starting grid to hold a banner expressing their support for the Emilia region in northern Italy which has been suffering from earthquakes and continuing aftershocks since late May.
AMA Pro Flat Track Stars to Face Off in Ride Academy “Race of Legends”
Fri, 12 Apr 2013When the AMA Flat Track stars of today compete at the spring Springfield Mile, May 26 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, they will be joined by the stars of the past, taking part in the “Ride of Legends“. Hosted by the Illinois Motorcycle Dealers Association and Ride Academy, a riding school founded by multiple Grand National race winner Mike Hacker, the “Ride of Legends” exhibition race will feature several other past Grand National event winners racing each other on Honda dirt bikes. Joining Hacker will be Jay Springsteen, Joe Kopp, Rich King, Ronnie Jones, Steve Beattie, Steve Moorehead and Chris Carr.
14-Year-Old Canadian Stacey Nesbitt First Woman to Win a National Road Racing Title
Mon, 22 Aug 2011Quebec teenager Stacey Nesbitt has won the Canadian Superbike Championship’s 2011 Honda CBR125R Challenge title. We’re still checking, but organizers are already calling Nesbitt the first woman to win a national road racing championship (excluding women-only categories). The 14-year-old from St-Lazare, Quebec, swept both Honda CBR125R Challenge races in the season finale at Mosport International Raceway in Bowmanville, Ontario, to win the title with 421 points, 52 points ahead of runner-up Austin Shaw-O’Leary.
