THIS IS A 1973 HONDA CB350 MANUFACTURE DATE IS 8/72 THIS BIKE IS CURRENTLY NOT RUNNING. THATS HOW IT WAS WHEN I GOT IT. THIS BIKE HAS BEEN SITTING IN A GARAGE FOR SEVERAL YEARS. I THINK THE STARTER IS SHOT AS I PUT POWER TO THE STARTER AND GOT NOTHING. THE BIKE I THINK HAS A SHORT IN THE ELECTRIC START OR SOMETHING AS I GOT NO ELECTRIC WHEN I HOOK POWER TO IT. COULD BE A BAD KEY SWITCH BUT I THINK IT NEEDS THE STARTER CHANGED. JUST MY GUESS. THE MOTOR KICKS AND THE BIKE HAS COMPRESSION. IT SHIFTS UP AND DOWN THROUGH THE GEARS FINE.TANK NEEDS TO BE CLEANED OUT. FRONT BRAKE IS OFF THE BIKE BUT I HAVE IT HERE. THIS IS THE PERFECT CB350 TO TURN INTO A SICK CAFE RACER WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK. IT HAS A CLEAR NJ TITLE. I AM SELLING IT AS IS AS DESCRIBED . Bonhams To Auction Bruce Smith Collection Of Original Illustrations
Fri, 11 Oct 2013On October 20, Bonhams will be auctioning off a collection of original illustrations by Bruce Smith from the 1960s and 1970s. Each one will be signed by Smith on heavy cartridge paper. The collection is comprised of cutaway illustrations of a 1963 Royal Enfield Interceptor 750cc, Chris Vincent’s 1964 BSA 650cc A65 Race Outfit, and a 1966 Greeves Racer, the largest of this series being 45cm x 62cm.
Brough Superior to Make Moto2 Debut at Silverstone
Thu, 17 Jul 2014The Taylormade Brough Superior racebike will make its Moto2 racing debut at the British Grand Prix at the U.K.’s Silverstone circuit. Backed by insurance company Bennetts, the one-off entry will feature British Supersport racer Luke Mossey riding the Taylormade Carbon 2 racebike. Led by California-based but British-bred Paul Taylor and John Keogh, the Taylormade project was started to rethink the spark the impending relaunch of the Brough Superior brand as well as to explore new ways of designing prototype race machines.
Stoner Blows Away Competition on Final Day of MotoGP Sepang Test
Thu, 02 Feb 2012To be the man, you have to beat the man, and after the final day of MotoGP’s pre-season test in Malaysia, Repsol Honda‘s Casey Stoner continues to be the man. The reigning MotoGP World Champion didn’t let lingering soreness from the back problems that sidelined him for the first day of testing at Sepang slow him down. On just his second of 21 laps on the final day, Stoner set a blistering lap time of 1:59.607, besting second-fastest rider Jorge Lorenzo by 0.591 seconds.While there’s still some room for improvement to be found his Honda RC213V, Stoner will turn things over to the engineers and fly back home to Switzerland to his wife Adriana for the birth of their first child.
