Fresh restoration.No dirt.This bike is spotless right now.The brakes are new and the cables are all new.The tires are new and a new battery has been installed.The wheels are without rust anywhere.No rust or signs of pitting on the front or rear wheel.They are spotless.We have re-laced the wheels both front and rear with stainless steel spokes.The hubs were polished meticulously while apart.The engine has minimal miles.Thirteen thousand and change is all this bike has on it..New chain and new sprockets and new seals and the list goes on.This bike is good to go.The chrome is original..The bike turns heads big time.Sounds great and rides like a dream..These were the worlds first super bikes and this is undisputed world wide.The new badges are not aftermarket.They are o.e.m. Honda parts.The electrical all functions as it is supposed to function.The charging system is in fine working order..The gauges are original and show the original miles .They look cool and the patina is one of a kind.As long as the gauges are working i will leave them alone.The trip odometer works as it should and the knob is the original in an unbroken state.This is a finely restored bike that will make the new owner very happy.I will consider any reasonable offer so don't hesitate to speak up if you have interest in this bike or one of my others.The pipes are in decent shape and have not been re-chromed.A small repair was done on one pipe but it not where it can be seen.No rust and the baffles are intact.This is a true vintage beauty! This CB was properly stored by the original owner with engine fogging and the proper tank/carb storage preparation before his death. When these bikes were introduced, the early ones had a reputation of breaking drive chains when spurred hard ! Honda then withdrew from subsequent races because they had nothing left to prove. 1967 Honda CB 77 Superhawk (1967)
Here is my nice red 1967 305 Superhawk. Hate to get rid of but house restoration projects warrant. I have owned several of these bikes over the years and this one is in great shape. 939 miles since engine overhaul. Runs great, shifts thru the gears, no issues at all. Clear Florida Title in my name. New battery. All electrical works great, battery charges as should. Only issue is the paint is peeling around the gas cap area as you can see from the photos. Also a few drops of oil leak from the crankcase and the front forks. It is titled as a 67 but I am thinking it is a 66 or maybe even a 65 since the wiring harness under the seat says 1965. Back in the day a state typically titled a bike the year it was sold new from the dealer and not the year it was made. VIN numbers are consistent with a match. Pick up only or I will deliver with in a two hour ride of my home so that is Miami, Tampa, Daytona, Orlando areas. Please ask me any questions you like As with any 45 year old bike the bike is sold "as is". It is also listed locally so I reserve the right to end the auction should that occur. At least Honda’s had the decency to change its nomenclature over the years to give the impression of evolution. Kawasaki is standing pat with the 292 cc Single that’s powered its KLX since 1996, along with its KLX nomenclature.
