Here is my nice red 1967 305 Superhawk. Hate to get rid of but house restoration projects warrant. I have owned several of these bikes over the years and this one is in great shape. 939 miles since engine overhaul. Runs great, shifts thru the gears, no issues at all. Clear Florida Title in my name. New battery. All electrical works great, battery charges as should. Only issue is the paint is peeling around the gas cap area as you can see from the photos. Also a few drops of oil leak from the crankcase and the front forks. It is titled as a 67 but I am thinking it is a 66 or maybe even a 65 since the wiring harness under the seat says 1965. Back in the day a state typically titled a bike the year it was sold new from the dealer and not the year it was made. VIN numbers are consistent with a match. Pick up only or I will deliver with in a two hour ride of my home so that is Miami, Tampa, Daytona, Orlando areas. The Bike is quite rare and unusual in that it was only produced for one year. At the time it was the fastest and most powerful Honda stock Motorcycle offered. The engine came standard with 108 hp and most consider this to be the very first 'Superbike.' With only 13,000 + miles the Bike runs beautiful! This Bike was never run hard. As you can see the color was changed to bright Yellow which I believe is an improvement. Originally it was only offered in two colors (blue and red.) The exhaust has been converted to an all-in-one performance collector which enhances the power. The tires were replaced about 3 years ago. New coils and ignition, chain and sprockets were replaced about 18 months ago. The four stock carbs were replaced with 4 Mikuni Performance carbs. Honda Announces Electric Motorcycle Plans
Tue, 13 Sep 2022Carbon neutrality by 2040 Honda announced plans for a carbon neutral future and a goal of introducing 10 or more electric motorcycles by 2025 including three mid-range models and a youth model for North America. Until now, Honda has been very tentative when it comes to electrification, with its main focus being on developing swappable battery packs for electric two-wheelers. Its Japanese counterparts Yamaha and Kawasaki have outlined their own plans, while in North America, Harley-Davidson is days away from finalizing its LiveWire spin-off.
2023 Honda Hornet Engine Details Confirmed
Fri, 09 Sep 2022Honda provided an update on the development of its new 2023 Hornet streetfighter, releasing test footage and details about its new engine. The new Hornet will be powered by a 755cc Parallel-Twin 8-valve Unicam engine with a 270° crank. Honda claims an output of 90.5 hp at 9500 rpm, 55.3 lb-ft.

Honda Trademarks Hint at New Scrambler and Dual Sport 500 Models

The trademark for CL500 was filed March 17 with the European Union Intellectual Property Office, while the NX500 trademark was filed May 2 with the EUIPO as well as with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

The name was originally used in Europe in 1969 for Honda’s ST-series in 50 and 70cc models, and last produced from 1995 to 2003 in Japan. The name comes from “Dachshund”, as its distinctive T-shaped frame resembles the weiner dog breed, helping it stand out from Honda’s other minibikes like the Monkey and Cub.
