1983 Honda CB1100F Canadian Model (1983)
Fuel tank,sidecovers,guages and rear tail piece replaced back over 10 years ago while you could still buy them new from Honda Canada.They are now obsolete and no longer available.Older pieces were kept by the previous owner and resold...they were faded somewhat but were not replaced due to any damage.The previous owner had 3 of these which 2 were traded off to us.This one was the least used with approx 22,000 kilometers.The bike had sat for years in a shop and when we went to first start the bike again a ring snagged and broke so we removed the cylinder block, honed the bores and installed new factory rings along with the new gaskets and seals as required.We also adjusted the valve clearances and cleaned the carbs.The oil & filter was changed using fresh Honda GN4 10-40 .It was recently test ridden and runs flawlessly.The back tire is near new while the front has some wear.We have the original airbox which had some mods done to it to increase air-flow.We also have the stock signal lights.The seat is a Corbin gunfighter.The carbs have a dyno jet kit installed along with the seperate K&N air filter pods.We do not have the stock seat or exhaust system. It was a great-running fun and very reliable bike. I rode it in Los Angeles and I rode it in North Carolina when I moved. Then, I went overseas and it sat neglected in my garage. As can be seen and hope fully appreciated from the pictures.This is 100% original down to the bridgestone tires with nocracked, unrestored survivor.The bike starts ,idles and runs perfectly, the pipe are perfect,i found no holes, no rust or pitting.The paint is very good , shiny , no mayor flaws,it also has allyellow paint on mayor bolts where inspections were made in factory.Gas tank is rust free and very clean inside, the only problem that , i am aware of are two smalls scratch in gas tank,and the left side cover has some cracks with attempted epoxyrepair.The bike does have a normal surface rust on some parts of theframe, typical of a bike 40 years old.All instruments, lights and switches work, bike was stored in aheated garage.It is very near a museum piece, with some very minor work itcould be a near 10/10.I don't think you will find a comparable.Clean Utah Title.Good luck.2013-09-05 08:46:07Salt Lake City, Utah, US4,7452,325.00 -

Sacrilege to even mess around with something as iconic as a 1975 Honda CB400F? For the most part, yes. My thought was.."What if Honda had made a European-only CB400F "R" model. What would it have looked like? That was the direction I took with this bike. It came to me cosmetically thrashed. I cleaned it up and it looked OK (see pic). But I wanted to take it to another level. It was totally stripped to bare frame and every nut, bolt, and component on this bike was either cleaned, replaced, refurbished, rebuilt, or re-painted. The tail section is from an original '75 Ducati 750 SS that's been highly modified for the 400F. The step that the stock Ducati seat snapped to is gone, the stock Duc lines softened and refined, ears have been formed to accept the mini turn signals, an LED tail light has been frenched into it, and it was re-glassed and strengthened at all mounting points including the seat pan. It attaches at the stock rear fender mounts. I also formed small "blisters" around the stock seat hinges so that if a future owner wants to return it to stock, they can. The seat is leather with the pleats matching the width of the stripes in the paint. The front fender is a modified '81 Honda Hawk part. It has been shortened a total of seven inches, reshaped, the cable guide swapped to the correct side and it hugs the tire so nicely now. I've been doing high-end motorcycle painting and body work for forty years and the finish on this bike is gorgeous. Keeping the stock Varnish Blue was essential, but with the addition of CBX-styled stripes and pin stripes and correct Honda decals.2016-07-18 04:44:12Sandpoint, Idaho, United States133900 -

Sad to say it but I am selling my wife's Honda SL 125 Enduro motorcycle. I built this over roughly a two year span. Absolutely nothing was sparred for this build. Full frame out resto. Honda Announces Electric Motorcycle Plans
Tue, 13 Sep 2022Carbon neutrality by 2040 Honda announced plans for a carbon neutral future and a goal of introducing 10 or more electric motorcycles by 2025 including three mid-range models and a youth model for North America. Until now, Honda has been very tentative when it comes to electrification, with its main focus being on developing swappable battery packs for electric two-wheelers. Its Japanese counterparts Yamaha and Kawasaki have outlined their own plans, while in North America, Harley-Davidson is days away from finalizing its LiveWire spin-off.
2023 Honda Hornet Engine Details Confirmed

The new Hornet will be powered by a 755cc Parallel-Twin 8-valve Unicam engine with a 270° crank. Honda claims an output of 90.5 hp at 9500 rpm, 55.3 lb-ft.

The name was originally used in Europe in 1969 for Honda’s ST-series in 50 and 70cc models, and last produced from 1995 to 2003 in Japan. The name comes from “Dachshund”, as its distinctive T-shaped frame resembles the weiner dog breed, helping it stand out from Honda’s other minibikes like the Monkey and Cub.
