Honda CB description
Up for auction is 1983 Honda CB1100F....This a true garage find...It came from an owner who purchased it in 1984 & parked it 2-3 yrs ago I was told...Shows 29k miles on it...& is NON-Running...Details are as follows..
I purchased this bike as part of a "Lot" of bikes & have decided to let it go to someone who appreciates these old rare Honda's & is looking for a great Winter project....This bike sits exactly the way I found it, dust and all...It is almost all stock, non-running for about 3 yrs & should need nothing more than a good carb cleaning, new battery, a check of the brake system to be up & running.....NO work has been done on it at all......Your risk is the same as mine when I purchased it...
- Original stock Exhaust appears in good shape w/ only a few scratches, but the normal "Heat Fade" on the Header pipes...Tank is very nice inside, no rust & not coated...Seat is in great shape w/ no tears...all Body work in good condition w/ nice color to the paint & decals...Tank has a few nicks in it that are shown in the pics....Front Fender has some paint off the leading edge, probably from normal road debris....Left Rear Turn Signal Stalk needs to be replaced as seen in the pics...Tires & chain are in good condition...One Mirror has some scratches on it...Missing the Odometer Rubber Re-set Button Top that goes on the Re-set Shaft...The Gas Tank Hinge has been replaced w/ a factory replacement one & has a different key than the Ignition...Front Brake Lines appear to have been replaced w/ better ones than stock...Comes with Factory Owners Manual also...
I will wash the bike this week prior to the sale, since it sits exactly how I aquired it & will add any additional info on the bike if I come across anything....The only thing I did was put the Title in my name, so it has a Clean & Clear Title ready to go....
Feel free to contact me if you need any additional info or pics, or would like to set up a "Viewing Time"....I will also entertain B.I.N. offers & will pull the ad if sold Here or Locally..
A great opportunity to own a piece of Honda history & to end up w/ a cool rare bike....
A $250.00 deposit due at the auction end w/ full payment due within 3 days...Pick-up or Shipping is the purchasers responsibility & I will work w/ your Shipper if need be....But I will not drive or crate the bike up...
If you have less than a "10" Feed Back or multiple Negative strikes, you need to contact me first before bidding or I will cancel your bids...
Ad can be pulled at any time due to a Local sale....Thanks for looking!

WSBK: 2012 Donington Results – Video
Mon, 14 May 2012BMW earned its first-ever World Superbike race win at the U.K.’s Donington Park, but missed out on sweeping the round after teammates Leon Haslam and Marco Melandri crashed on the final corner while battling for the lead in the second race. Melandri earned BMW its landmark first win in Race One leading Haslam in a one-two finish. They could have repeated that finish in Race Two but Haslam low-sided after making contact with Honda‘s Jonathon Rea trying to pass on the inside.
“The Retriever” is Swedish for Tow Bike
Wed, 22 Oct 2008The Honda GL1800 Goldwing may be a versatile vehicle, but a Sweden based company has developed theirs to be something much different; a recovery vehicle. According to their site, the process takes less than 90 seconds with a single operator using the handheld remote control. The bike can allegedly be driven like any other motorcycle when you are not towing a car behind you.
Simon and Leo
Thu, 11 Aug 2011If you are a track day regular this year, you may well have bumped into former racer and friendly Kiwi, Simon Crafar. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.
