Honda CB description

Bike is in great running order. Fires right up, and runs very very strong. New rear tire, battery, fork seals and oil. Tank has a small dent in left side, and some rust spots on same side. Speedometer needle broke on me about 300 miles ago, and tach not quite right but works. Seat is in good shape, a tiny split on one of the seams. I do have the stock bars as well as the exhaust, just not pictured. Stock exhaust is solid, but a few dent in it, and some rust on bottom. Left rear turn signal needs to be replaced. Left hand control switch is cracked, but it works. Bike is also listed on craigslist, so i reserve the right to end auction at any time. Any other questions, please ask before you bid. I can be reached at 815-541-9714 between the hours of 11:00-9:00 central time. Thanks Matt.

The Kentucky Kid, Nicky Hayden‘s signing with Jorge Martinez’s Team Aspar is now official, with the Spanish team finally confirming news many MotoGP followers were long expecting. Also expected was the announcement that Hayden will compete in the 2014 MotoGP Championship on Honda‘s new production racer (unofficially known as the RCV1000R.) “Thanks to everybody who helped make this happen & my fans still behind me. Looking forward to the future.

The Honda Collection Halls in Motegi

Fri, 14 Oct 2011

I thought you may have to be from a certain era to enjoy the Honda Collection Halls in Motegi but I was wrong. This immaculate museum has hundreds of race and road bikes on display starting with the first ever (wooden) motorcycle built right up to the amazing machines Pedrosa and co are campaigning this year. Being part of the Honda owned Motegi Twin Ring circuit complex, I was expecting it to be a Honda only zone so was amazed to see lots of iconic bikes from other manufacturers also on display.

FIM to Revise WSBK Homologation Requirements

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

The International Motorcycling Federation is considering modifying its homologation requirements for the World Superbike Championship following Bimota‘s somewhat surprising plans to re-enter the series. Under current regulations, manufacturers must produce a minimum number of motorcycles for it to be eligible to compete in the production-based WSBK championship. The official regulations currently require a minimum of 125 units produced for an initial homologation inspection, 500 units produced by June 30 of the current year, 1,000 units by the end of the current year and 2,000 units by the end of the following year.
