Honda CB description

Excellent condition bike with 10,300 original miles. I found this bike in a dry (too dry) basement. Had been sitting for 12 years. It needed work to get it running and road ready but good to go now and needs nothing. Has an aftermarket 4-into-1 KERKER exhaust that sounds awesome. Besides that everything else is stock. The bike has never been taken apart or restored, except for what I've listed herewithin. The engine VIN # is S0001E-2302923. Below is a list of items that I have done to it. Consider the cost of these items when comparing to other similar bikes for sale, well over $1000. New gas tank, Rebuilt carbs with all new seals and rubber gaskets, Rebuilt front brake calipers, Flushed and cleaned brake lines and reservoirs, New front tire, New battery, New air filter, New spark plugs, Fresh oil change and filter, New choke cable, New grips, OME You won't find one in better condition unless it's been rebuilt from frame up. Factory Specs:http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/Honda/honda_cb900f%2082.htm PLEASE READ: In the State of Maine we do not need titles to register vehicles older than 25 years. I do not have a title for this bike. I do have a Letter of Verification from the State, which is all you need along with the Bill Of Sale. If you are concerned, please call your DMV to find out. Listed locally so may end auction early. Ask me about a buy it now price.

Get On Africa: Blog One

Wed, 06 Apr 2011

It's not every day you get to bomb around a field that was set aside for The Pope but that's exactly what we've done this morning; the first proper day of our Get On Africa adventure. We started the morning at the Riders for Health workshop where the mechanics took us through their setup and maintenance program for their bikes. The celebs ran through the basics of bike maintainance, the mechanic boasted that bikes never come back to the workshop broken, they just come in for scheduled servicing.

Ronax 500cc Two-Stroke Sportbike Coming June 8

Wed, 16 Apr 2014

German company Ronax GmbH is producing a limited edition street-legal two-stroke sportbike rumored to be based on the Honda NSR500 GP racebike. The company isn’t releasing much information but what little it has revealed about the Ronax 500 has certainly piqued our interest. What we do know for certain is the motorcycle will be powered by a 500cc two-stroke V-4 engine, which sounds like Honda’s racebike of yesteryear.

MotoGP to Re-Visit Rookie Rule

Tue, 19 Jun 2012

MotoGP organizers are re-opening discussion for the series’ rookie rule which prevents new riders from entering the series with factory teams. Introduced following the 2009 MotoGP season, the rule was designed to give satellite teams the chance to field young up-and-coming talents  they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to sign. The theory was the rule would protect the satellite teams and spread out the talent pool.
