Honda CB description

1981 Honda CB900 Custom

This bike is in near mint original condition with only 7717 easy miles put on it.  Always stored inside and well cared for.  The carbs were recently gone through, alternator rotor replaced, tires are near new and it runs, shifts and stops great.  Look at the pictures and you will see just how good of condition this bike is in.  The seat is perfect, the original paint is near perfect and the chrome is beautiful.  These bikes have a HI and LOW range with 10 speeds and air ride suspension.  It has a matching "HondaLine" Honda faring on it and an adjustable backrest / luggage rack that are all in excellent condition.  You probably won't find a nicer original 1981 bike like this anywhere!

AMA Supercross: 2012 Las Vegas Results

Mon, 07 May 2012

Ryan Dungey scored his fourth win of the season but it was not enough to take second place in the points race behind champion Ryan Villopoto. That honor went to JGRMX Yamaha‘s Davi Millsaps who placed second to Dungey in the season-ending race at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. Dungey took the holeshot and led every lap to take the win for Red Bull KTM.

The most beautiful race bike ever?

Thu, 06 Oct 2011

It was good to see my old HRC team mate Shinichi Itoh making his final Moto GP appearance last weekend at Motegi.  At 44 he was a bit off the pace compared to his younger team mates, but that didn't matter as it was a joy just to see him circulating on what I reckon is most stunning GP bike ever. And I gladly braved the pit lane walkabout chaos just to dribble and take a few snaps. Unfortunately he lost the front in one session trashing a complete set of body work but was back in action on race day to grab a few world championship points.

Magneti Marelli to Supply Electronics System to MotoGP Teams

Wed, 26 Sep 2012

It’s no secret that promoter Dorna Motorsports has been trying to push a standardized electronics control unit for teams in the MotoGP World Championship. The lack of a top-tier electronics package has been one of the biggest challenges faced by MotoGP’s claiming rule teams, and a spec ECU would narrow the gap between the CRT bikes and the factory prototypes. The manufacturers competing in the series, Honda, Ducati and Yamaha, understandably are resistant to the idea considering the effort they’ve put in to develop their electronics systems.
