Very clean, un-molested original 1980 Honda CB750C with only 14,520 miles. Runs and rides well as it is right now, but could use some TLC. Needs exhaust, as typical of this era, these mufflers have rusted from sitting an holding moisture due to their upswept angle (have seen several sets listed on ebay from $80 to $200). Also missing are both side covers which are available on ebay as well (about $100 a pair). I tore down, cleaned and re-kitted the carbs, but could use a new accelerator pump diaphragm. I tuned her with my old set of vacuum gauges, but with exhaust leaking would probably need to be dialed in with proper exhaust (attempted to patch holes with exhaust wrap, but doesn't work so well). Tank is very clean inside and does not leak even though is dented from fall-over incident in garage. The only other damage from the fall over is the chrome rim around the tachometer but is barely noticeable. Thank you for looking and more for buying. Brough Superior to Make Moto2 Debut at Silverstone
Thu, 17 Jul 2014The Taylormade Brough Superior racebike will make its Moto2 racing debut at the British Grand Prix at the U.K.’s Silverstone circuit. Backed by insurance company Bennetts, the one-off entry will feature British Supersport racer Luke Mossey riding the Taylormade Carbon 2 racebike. Led by California-based but British-bred Paul Taylor and John Keogh, the Taylormade project was started to rethink the spark the impending relaunch of the Brough Superior brand as well as to explore new ways of designing prototype race machines.

Honda Raises MSRP for 2013 NC700X But Lowers Price for DCT Option
Wed, 13 Feb 2013The big news from Honda last week was the introduction of the new CTX700 and CTX700N cruisers. Flying a little under the radar however was a change to American Honda‘s pricing structure for the 2013 NC700X which sees a price increase for the base model but a price cut for combined anti-lock brakes and a dual clutch transmission Honda introduced the NC700X last year at an impressively low price of $6999 for the base model and $8999 with ABS and DCT. The low price point was one key advantage we awarded the 2012 NC700X over the $7899 Kawasaki Versys in our recent Middleweight Multi-Tool Shootout.
