Honda CB description

VERY VERY RELUCTANT SALE OF MY BABY! I HAD BOUGHT THIS FROM ACROSS THE OTHER SIDE OF COUNTRY AND HAVE HAD IT A YEAR. A CHANGE OF CIRCUMSTANCES FORCES THIS SALE. I MOVED AND HAVE NO PLACE TO STORE IT AND IT DESERVES TO BE KEPT WELL. IT HAS JUST OVER 13,000 ORIGINAL MILES. I COMPLETELY REBUILT CARBS AND CLEANED ALL OF THEM. IT STARTS RIGHT AWAY, EXCEPT NEEDS A LITTLE TLC WHEN COLD AS ALL 4 CYLINDER ENGINES DO.:-). I HAVE WORKED ON THE CARBS, FULL CLEAN AND REBUILD. BRAKES AND CABLES. SOME COSMETIC CLEANING WOULD BRING IT TO PRISTINE. TIRES HAVE GOOD TREAD BUT MIGHT BE REPLACED AS THEY HAVE BEEN ON THE BIKE A LONG TIME. IT IS A GREAT BIKE ESPECIALLY FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND A CLASSIC. IT RUNS SMOOTH AND ENGINE SOUNDS AS IT SHOULD. GRUNTY BUT SMOOTH. I HATE TO PART WITH IT BUT MUST...THIS WOULD MAKE A FANTASTIC CAFE, OR KEEP IT ORIGINAL. IT DESERVES TO BE LOVED AND CARED FOR AS I HAVE LOVED AND CARED FOR IT. IT IS ONLY GOING BECAUSE I HAD TO MOVE AND I DONT HAVE A COVERED GARAGE FOR IT. USHIP OFFERS REALLY GOOD DEALS THROUGH EBAY FOR PRIVATE HAULERS AND SHIPPERS. YOU CAN GET A REALLY GOOD RATE TO MOVE IT FOR YOU IF YOU SHOP AROUND A LITTLE. I USED THEM AND WAS VERY SATISFIED. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK ME ANY QUESTIONS. I AM A LONG TIME VERIFIED EBAY SELLER. Sheepish Maverick Vinales Returns to Blusens, Issues Apology

Tue, 23 Oct 2012

A contrite Maverick Vinales has returned to the Blusens Avintia Moto3 team days after his brash, and admittedly hasty departure at this past weekend’s Malaysian Grand Prix. The FTR Honda rider quit the Blusens team on Oct. 10, returning home from Sepang without once hitting the track.

2013 Honda CB500F, CB500X and CBR500R Recalled in Australia

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

Honda has recalled its 2013 CB500F, CB500X and CBR500R models in Australia because of a defect that could cause an oil leak. At the moment, no recall has been announced for the U.S., though there is a good possibility one will be announced shortly, as all 500-series models are manufactured in the same Honda factory in Thailand. There is a similar recall for the Japanese market for the CB400F, CB400X and CBR400R, which are mechanically identical to Honda’s 500-series models, but with a smaller engine to meet the country’s tiered licensing requirements.  According to the Australian and Japanese recall notices, the rocker arm shaft sealing bolt may come loose, causing oil to leak from the engine.

Helmet Law Upheld in Ontario

Tue, 16 Jun 2009

A Sikh in Ontario, Canada, has lost his challenge to the $110 ticket he received back in September 2005 for not wearing a helmet while riding his Honda Shadow.  Baljinder Badesha, 39, claims the Ontario helmet law is “100 per cent” discrimination no matter what the safety issues are when riding without a helmet. We cannot put anything over the turban, it is against our religion.  Mr. Badesha said outside court.
