Up for grabs...1979 Honda CB750F Super Sport DOHC
First year of Honda's iconic DOHC 750. Bike is mostly complete barring the side panels. Overall condition is very good - mufflers have the tell-tale rust holes in the bottom. Bike does not currently run but the motor does turn over. Inside of the tank is pretty clean, but I'm sure the carbs will need going through. Will need brake work as well as a battery. Definitely a project, but I don't think it will take a whole lot to make it run - it IS a Honda after all! :) Check out the pictures, what you see is what you get. Clean title. Feel free to give us a call or drop us an email and we will be happy to answer any questions - thanks for checking out our auctions! Low cost shipping may be an option, depending on your location! And because this is ebay, please note that this motorcycle is currently non-running and will fully serviced before it is road-worthy. Please note: we will cancel any bids from bidders with less than 10 feedback. If you are interested but have less than 10 feedback, please give us a call. We are advertising this bike for sale locally so we reserve the right to end the auction early, however, we will not end the auction once a bid is placed so bid early. Thanks! Do you remember Honda's EVO Blade?
Thu, 05 May 2011I can remember exactly where I was when I first saw Honda's TT100 Evolution Fireblade: at the dinner table, reading MCN as a 16-year old lad and being told to put the paper down and get on with my dinner! I'm sure you appreciate why the lamb chops had to wait.. It was created by Honda to celebrate their 100th TT victory, however I'm pretty sure Honda had another agenda: to homologate it so they could put it up against the mighty new Yamaha R1 at the TT.
