THIS ORIGINAL, UNMOLESTED BIKE IS COMPLETELY STOCK WITH IT'S ORIGINAL PARTS EXCEPT NEW TIRES, BATTERY, CHAIN, DRIVE SPROKETS, FUSE BOX AND RECTIFIER. THIS BIKE IS A SOUTH FLORIDA BIKE AND WAS SOLD NEW IN BONITA SPRINGS, SECOND AND THIRD OWNERS WERE IN NAPLES AND NOW I (4TH OWNNER) HAVE IT IN MIAMI. ALWAYS GARAGE KEPT SINCE NEW. ADULT OWNED AND RIDDEN. NEWLY REBUILT CARBS (TWO MONTHS AGO). CHROME IN VERY GOOD CONDITION (SEE PHOTOS). 3RD OWNER HAD THE BIKE COMPLETELY GONE THROUGH BY A HONDA CERTIFIED MECHANIC AT 16,500 MILES. Classic Japanese Bikes Highlight Bonhams’ Next Auction
Mon, 07 Oct 2013Bonhams’ annual fall auction, the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show, at Stafford County Showground is scheduled for October 20, 2013. Included in the auction is the above pictured 1974 Kawasaki H1-RW 500cc triple. Expected to sell for approximately $96,000 to $112,000, the Japanese works Grand Prix racer is one of only two machines built by the factory for the French Kawasaki importer SIDEMM for use in the 500cc World Championship. The bikes were ridden during the 1974 season by the French endurance racing specialist Christian Léon and French-Canadian Formula 750 star Yvon Duhamel.

Warning: Yamazaki-san’s monotone delivery manages to snuff the excitement factor of what is an incredibly trick motorcycle, but it’s still interesting to watch. Honda returned to the Dakar Rally for the first time in 24 years in January 2013.
