Honda CB description

Up for sale or trade is a 1978 Honda CB750. This would be the last year of the SINGLE OVERHEAD CAMSHAFT. I bought it last summer from an older rider. It was stored in his warehouse and was obviously well cared for so I brought it home. I rode it into the trailer and has been idle ever since. It comes as you see. Exhaust was changed at some point and the headlamp bracket isn't original. The bars, lamps, seat, wheels are all original and in attractive shape. No peppering on the forks or the rims. Overall a clean 18k vintage Honda with a clean Florida title. No oil leaks, no tricks, no noise. Starts easy with the button or the foot.A clean last year bike, candidate for a daily, Cafe Racer, Brat, Tracker. The ONLY thing that I will consider trading for would be a 1974 or earlier CB450 / CL450 / CB500 / CB550 or a small pick-up truck. S-10, Sonoma, Nissan Hardbody / Frontier, etc. No fords, no fullsize.Otherwise, I'm firm on the price.Thanks!Dave904.859.XXXXKeywords: Honda Yamaha Suzuki cb175 cb350 cb450 cb550 CL350 CL CB XS XS650 Vintage Cafe Cafe Racer Brat Tracker Scrambler Custom Project Needs Original Antique Restore Restoration Modified Bobber Chopper Shortchop Rat Rod Hot Old

Honda Announces 400cc Version of 500-Series Engine

Tue, 05 Feb 2013

Honda has revealed a new, smaller-displacement variation of the 470cc parallel-twin engine introduced on its new CBR500, CB500F and CB500X models. The new engine has a bore of 67mm, just like Honda‘s 500-series engine, but a stroke of 56.6mm instead of the longer 66.8mm. The result is an engine displacement of 399cc, which makes the new engine a better fit for markets such as Japan license restrictions are much stricter for engines larger than 400cc.
